The point guard analogy about JJ from Fuente seems to fit well.
Let's go 1-0 another week!

SCHokie

Dcwilson40, it would be great if you also posted stat lines that calculate QB Efficiency to help us contextualize the numbers with respect to volume.

I concur.

lets just put JJ at #1 now since jones is gone for the year.

Not the whole year. IIRC, Brewer missed 6 weeks with a similar injury. Could be more, could be less.

yeah when the news originally broke on twitter they were saying out for the season, but like the below comment hes out against us and that's the only season im concerned with. :)

He will miss us.That is the rest of the year.

Those are specifically week 2 stats, not season stats.

Here's the season stats for the top 4. I'll post the rest later when I'm not mobile

* Daniel Jones, DUKE - 29/39, 389 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT, 192 RAT, 79.1 QBR, 79.7 Adj QBR

* Josh Jackson, VT - 28/42, 424 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 175.0 RAT, 75.9 QBR, 70.9 Adj QBR

* Eric Dungey, SYRACUSE - 30/49, 402 yards, 7 TD, 1 INT, 173.2 RAT, 92.1 QBR, 82.2 Adj QBR

* Kelly Bryant, CLEMSON - 23/34, 337 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 170.3 RAT, 51.3 QBR, 52.8 Adj QBR

Dungey has been running like crazy. He might be the leading rusher in the conference.

Except some guy for BC has something to say about that.

but dungey is 2nd and only trailing by 3 yards. for those who care....

RUSHING YARDS YDS
player/ pos / team/ carries/ yrds/ avg./ long/ TDs
1 AJ Dillon, RB BC 26 247 9.5 74 3
2 Eric Dungey, QB SYR 26 244 9.4 49 1
3 Bryce Perkins, QB UVA 38 231 6.1 47 2
4 Jordan Ellis, RB UVA 32 209 6.5 21 2
5 Qadree Ollison, RB PITT 28 192 6.9 63 1
6 TaQuon Marshall, QB GT 22 190 8.6 45 2
7 Cade Carney, RB WAKE 35 184 5.3 35 2
8 Jordan Mason, RB GT 24 180 7.5 46 1
9 Tobias Oliver, QB GT 30 169 5.6 15 3
10 Cam Akers, RB FSU 28 158 5.6 85 0

its sad that GT has 2 QBs ahead of anyone we have. but clease's fumble really sidelined him Saturday from getting many carries and making much noise.

for reference,

15 Deshawn McClease, RB VT 23 112 4.9 23 1
21 Steven Peoples, RB VT 19 99 5.2 16 2
31 Terius Wheatley, RB VT 9 80 8.9 18 1

just for fun.... herdon hooker coming in at 35th in the conference in rushing with 1 carry for 69 yards and TD.

We still ran for three bills. I don't care that it was by committee.

I'm liking that ypc for the VT backs.

He only ran 6 times on Saturday (3 td's and a 150) in the first quarter and then sat for the rest of the game.

Simple efficiency stat from best on down is unreadable? I thought it was rather easy/straight forward.

Sorry. I wanted to reply to two other posts up thread, but didn't.

Yeah, I know. That's why I put an asterisk to signify their in-but-not-in approach.

Seems relevant.

Anthony Brown has played UMass and Holy Cross. Just sayin'.

7. Malik Rosier • Miami (FL) 131.2
8. Deondre Francois • Florida State

LMAO! ESPN loveboys!

Rosier stinks. Not a good QB at all. We made him look a lot better than he really is last year.
