For as little credit they get what they are good, I am not so sure enough people pay them enough attention for it to have a look for the conference at all.

The worst part of watching GT lose this game is they showed me exactly what they've shown me the last three seasons; their defense is bad, their offense is good, the most reliable way to beat them is to play well on offense because they will get theirs.
Unfortunately, we've been woefully unable to take advantage of their poor defense for several years now. I am optimistic that this will be the year we fix that though.

I'm pretty sure this goes against "new thread" guidelines, now going to have to stop "working" on my math homework and find it.
The topic body has to be something more than "Nm". That is to say, your title shouldn't be the entirety of your post. This isn't TSL. You don't have to be an essayist, but a few well-thought sentences generally makes for a much better discussion to follow. If you're referencing a Tweet, article or YouTube video, link or embed it. Provide a source. Explain why someone should click on link. Facilitate a conversation with your initial post, then lead the discussion.
Share original content (e.g. embed the original tweet, not a link to another post/website with said tweet), add context / relevant information (e.g. Hudl film for a topic about a new scholarship offer to a recruit).
Don't post threads with the sole purpose of riling people up. For instance, "ESPN just said ______ about us - they suck!", "Bleacher Report sucks!", etc. are not worthy of topics \ threads.
Don't start a new topic to rant.

i felt like we were doing some weird things Against GT in that game last year, its not just the bad play-calling at the end. I'm also referring to running low percentage/Long Developing plays (ALA Mike O'Cain)....we could have run our normal offense like Jet Sweeps, inverted Veer, TE in the flat, 10-yard cross-ins to the wide out, but we didn't do any of that,

Coach Fu knows you get limited possessions when the other team runs 40 belly dives. so he calls the game accordingly- conservative, tries to keep the ball away from him. So far, it hasn't worked.

And this wasn't including the "hidden yards" that weren't gained due to the 2 kick returns for TD's. If you assumed 75 yds per (since that's what would happen for a touch back), they had the equivalent of 576 yds.

Fuente has said himself he overthinks game planning for GT. It's hard to put stock into many teams at this point in the season. Both us and GT will get better. No need to worry about it now though.

Beamer didn't really change the way he managed the game during the GT games, and he went 6-2 against Paul Johnson. He let Bud do his thing, and the offensive strategy didn't change. Fuente needs to do the same. GT isn't talented enough for Fuente to be completely game planning around what they're going to do. It's frustrating.

Agreed. The secret to beating them is no secret at all. Force them into 3rd and long without them leading. Make them actually set up, pass block and complete tight throws. Not a QB scramble designed run that turned into a desperate pass. No, make them throw it like a real offense. You do that, you beat them.

Bad look for the ACC.
For as little credit they get what they are good, I am not so sure enough people pay them enough attention for it to have a look for the conference at all.
This is Fuente's biggest game of the season IMO. He's beaten every ACC team he's played not named Clemson, with the exception of Chop Block U.
Syracuse...
Sigh. Im glad you said it and not me.
I threw up thinking id have to say it.
We didn't lose to Syracuse. We lost to the Carrier Dome.
I was there. VT lost to Syracuse...and a collective big head.
He'll get his win over Syracuse in 2021 and Clemson this year. Always think optimistically!
Perhaps when can worry about that game in a month and a half.
Yeah no sense in looking ahead, we fans might get distracted and not focus on Old Dominion.
You mean ECU.
That's the joke...

Agree- that is my point and frustration... their defense sucks.. except against Virginia Tech of course.

DCWilson is the anarchist of TKP.
You seriously felt the need to stop doing your homework for this?
Yes because I needed any excuse, hard to focus on homework due in 20 days, at least for me in subjects I hate.
Nothing like avoiding what's due in 20 days to focus on what happens in 45 days.
Yea DCwilsons obsession with GT is a year round thing.
C'mon, Math is fun. Show us what you're working on, maybe we can help.
Sure the other day was module arithmetic, mod 5 is 0,1,2,3,4 etc.
Today's lesson was about converting from Base B to base 10.
This actually made me chuckle at my desk. Never change, dcwilson40. We need you around here.
I'll be on the GT beat all season. I'll keep you posted on their collision course with 6-6 at best.
And for that we thank you
GT tried to give them a pass towards the end, but USF intercepted it to seal the deal
Surprising given how "effective" GT passes the ball.
FTFY, bud.

I think it has completely gotten into his head.
So transitive property...FSU is going to be good this year?

Fun fact: we're undefeated against GT when we score more points than them.
IIRC they converted some 3rd and longs last season when we played.
Oh DC knows.
God i hate GT.
This is offseason-caliber shitposting. Well done.
Even Bronco has a win against GT...
