I had actually made this one a few weeks ago and had to follow up with my brother living in Norfolk a block from the beach that I wouldn't need to edit it based on their turnout from last weekend's weather. The Old North State was quite devastated, humour aside feel free to outreach any relief programs to operate under our #UtProsim
Our opponent this week is the dreaded ODU, I say dreaded but honestly they are prob the most likable option of fellow Virginian teams. But their hopes and dreams must be crushed nonetheless. We are leaving the 540 in rare form to establish a new oceanfront fort to train future DBU soldiers. Let's go ahead and shatter their illusion early. Just like those naive freshmen who will think they are going to get class canceled once snow starts falling from the heavens.
P.S. I'm working on/debating some extra layered comics and ideas that will be more ACC/FBS based that will prob be released along with or near the standard opponents comic as half week posts. Because the idea free-time is a social construct.

Oh wow, I didn't put it together that he was the same guy from The League. That doc is sooooooo good btw. Really recommend it to anyone. Reality really is stranger than fiction sometimes. It's a bit long as it is a 6 part miniseries but it is worth it.

I'm just going to throw this out there.....
FSU beat us in the National Championship, in part because of a punt block in our own end zone. How fitting that we effectively drove the final nail in their 'national power' coffin by doing the same to them in their own house.
Sure, they may come back and they may regain their national prominence again, but that won't be a continuation of Bobby's Noles anymore. If they're good, it'll all be based on the work of the existing coach. Especially after this season plays out.

They may be the best of VA, but odu fans are not fun. There's a lot of ecu-like traits in this fanbase.
Living down here, the last 5 years they claim to be the best team in the state and have had an inflated vision of themselves. Until last years beat down by Tech and (a really bad) unc team have they realized what big boy football really is, so it will be fun to remind them on Saturday. I hope Bud retains the shutout another 12 months.

I've live down here as well and I don't think I've heard this sentiment a single time...
Fans typically don't care too much about their football to really be nasty or delusion.
No idea where you hear this, but ODU fans seem to be optimistic about the future given their recruiting ground, but accepting of the fact that they will never compete with VT or even UVA for that matter in terms of potential.
