The Tech Men's Soccer team is ranked #14 in the latest poll, with a record of 4-1-2. The lone loss is to #1 Wake, and the two ties are to UCF in double OT and #10 loluva in double OT, on the grounds.
The schedule coming up includes 3 teams in the top 10 currently; UNC, Duke, and Notre Dame, as well as #18 NCState. Come on Hokies, let's finish this strong and make another run in the NCAA tournament!

Great to see after a major class of seniors graduating last year. Wish we could have pulled out the draw vs. Wake but looks like they are well positioned for another NCAA tourney berth!
Crazy to see 8 ACC Teams in the Top 25, certainly the premier soccer conference.

Playing soccer on coffee grounds is dangerous and inconvenient... they should really consider planting grass on the field.

I grew up playing the game in England on "fields" that were more mud than grass, I would haven taken your arm off if you offered us the chance to play on coffee grounds. End old man rant.
Another note on that loss to Wake Forest-- we played a man down (due to a red card) for roughly the last 60 minutes. Wake scored twice in the 2nd half for a comeback win, including the gamewinner late in the match.
