Many people have mentioned this show but I couldn't find a topic on it. I have been watching this one since it started after hopping into Breaking Bad late but before it ended. I loved Breaking Bad, and I am really not into other AMC shows (Walking Dead etc). But I am beginning to like Better Call Saul even more than Breaking Bad. Something about this moral downfall just seems more relate-able? Hard to put a finger on it. The most episode, Coushatta, may be the best one yet.

The German leader is going to get killed as well, for what we don't know yet. Possibly running his mouth about this amazing project he completed.

Good question and not one I ever thought I needed answered until you asked it.
I'm a couple episodes behind I think, but it is a very good show. I think it is even better written than Breaking Bad, and knowing where the characters end up (or do not end up) somehow makes it even more suspenseful.
I don't think it's better than Breaking Bad, but I like the way it is morphing into it, and providing additional background on some of the characters.
Breaking Bad was tight, tight.
I wasn't a fan at first but it grew on me. Cool to see them weave in the backstory of the Breaking Bad characters. I found myself feeling really sorry for Jimmy/Saul in the early seasons and Mike has been my favorite character throughout, the way they killed him in B.B. really sucks now. He's a cool Pop Pop.

That always sucked. Even WW knew it sucked. But it fit the series perfectly, and showed just how far WW had fallen. Yeah, he definitely didn't get the fairy tale ending.
Unfortunately I have to wait until they put it on Netflix to watch the new season. I can't wait though, big fan of the show!
We never liked Breaking Bad, just couldn't get into it even after several tries. Better Call Saul, on the other hand, we're totally into and have been since the first episode. We're glad Kim is darkening up, because otherwise she and Jimmy were headed for splitsville. I do miss Chuck, though. That was a character.
If you like the latest episode, I suggest listening to the first episode of the new Serial Podcast. It is an inside look at what happens when you accidentally hit an officer and have some sort of record. Really weird how much that episode correlates with BCS episode.
How do you accidentally hit an officer?
If you listen to the episode, there was a female who was at a bar, and multiple men grabbed her butt in a short period of time all on camera.
Each time she was grabbed she tried to defuse the situation calmly, but when it didn't stop she ended up swinging at the guy that grabbed her.
The girl is 105 lbs. and a bar fight broke out, and she was getting her ass beat by a few other people.
She was flailing her arms just to try to protect herself, and a Police officer came to break it up, and one of her flails hit the officer. The officer actually laughed it off, said multiple times over and over that it was a complete accident, and he wasn't going to press charges, but he had to bring her to jail.
Their is audio of the cop saying this multiple times to the woman. I know it was an accident, and I am not going to charge you, but I still need to bring you in to jail.
It's a real good listen to how the law works on something like this. I highly recommend it.
I started watching BCS, but it took about half of the first season for me to really get into it. I'm glad I stuck it out as it's one of the best shows on now. At first I couldn't stand Howard, but now I feel sorry for him.

Really liked this past Monday's episode. I think we might see a breakup with Kim, or she feels so guilty about what Jimmy said, that she does something really stupid and gets put in jail or dies.
I didn't see this second year hiatus coming though. They board saw that Jimmy had no empathy for his brother at all.

Really awesome season. On par with the best of breaking bad.
Loving this season so far. The last two episodes have especially been captivating. Episode 8 was probably one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen and the last part of this week's episode had me on edge for like ten minutes. I can't want to see what happens next week, while at the same time I'm terrified of what could happen.
They went a very different direction with the last episode this season than I expected they would. It's really exciting to see both sides of the show colliding. No idea what ends up happening to Kim but I think I fear a bit less for her life now than I did a week ago.
Ended well, although not what i was expecting. I cant wait for the final season.

Lalo is terrifying. It's great what they've been able to do with creating the character from a throwaway line in Breaking Bad.
But at the same time can seem cool and somewhat likeable??? I do like how they tied him in so well. Apparently Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan were going back and forth over whether to even include him in this show. Peter wanted him and Vince didn't. I'm glad Peter won out and I assume Vince is too.
He seems almost more terrifying when he's being likeable because you know he's always thinking of something. Nacho has become my favorite character, he just wants out. Also, I'm sure Howard wishes he never met either of the McGill brothers.
I'm thinking Nacho (and maybe his dad but I really hope not) are gone now that Lalo knows what's up. I feel bad for Howard and I'm guessing that Kim and Jimmy's relationship will fall apart because of Kim's new ideas. I think she's more likely to end up in jail because of her new plan than she is to be killed. Either would be rough to watch.
As this season wraps up, is anyone watching Season 3 of Westworld?
I am loving it to this point.
The last few episodes have been some of the most suspenseful TV I have ever watched. The final especially. The next season is supposed to be the last and it really is shaping up to be better than Breaking Bad ever was. I love the Kim development.
