"it's gonna be loud. But our stadium is loud. I'm excited to go in there, kick the shit out of them, get a win, then get out of there"
We will register on the Richter scale this weekend.
Again.

Can't blame him. That's where you're mind should be when entering a competition. We just have to respond by educating the man on what "loud" means and by kicking his teeth in.
Yeah, we would be loving it if we one of our guys said this. It's a common thing for these guys to be thinking.
ROCK, FLAG, AND EAGLE!
We are gonna go USA all over their ASSES
Let's just go VT all over their ASSES instead. They salute the same flag we do, after all.
checks globe...you are correct sir!
Kelly talked about Lane Stadium in his SEASON ND preview in August on XM. He is really emphasizing the whole "Lane" thing to his team to prepare them mentally. Let's see if it works. When a coach is talking about the stadium of the 5th game of the year in the pre-season, it's an emphasis. Let's see if it backfires on him if he is not "worried" about our actual players or schemes.
I mean, Kelly talked about how Miami was a tough place for them to play last year lol. Lane will be much louder.
I have no problem with what he said. Except that he thinks Notre Dame Stadium is loud. Loud compared to Scott Stadium, maybe.
Scott Stadium can get pretty loud and rowdy for their rivalry game
Scott stadium can get loud, but only thanks to us....
Yeah, I hadn't had my coffee yet.... Take your leg.
Oh boy...you really goofed up.
What you did there, see it I did.
You mean Lane Stadium North.
Somebody is in for a rude awakening. Unfortunately I won't be at the game, but I sure am jealous of those who will be. It's going to be special.
When the average age of your fan is geriatric, it's probably hard to be that loud
Their stadium seated around 80,800 for a time. Now it's back down to 77k. The only way I can think of Kelly "prepping" for the atmosphere is by attempting to simulate the noise at their indoor practice facility (or their own stadium) through the sound system.

I saw a thread on twitter about this and one ND fan said that their stadium gets loud and that it was loud for the UGA last season. UGA fans TOOK OVER that stadium. That's why it was so loud.
Didn't Georgia win that one?
This gif needs to be used more
Hambone!
Nah, he played tuba and doesn't like this website for some reason.
yep time to run through a damn wall...
This is one of those times when coaches print this out and leave a copy in each and every one of the lockers at practice this afternoon.
Let these players marinade on the fact that ND is now openly saying they're coming into our house to "kick the shit out of" us.
Not saying we need the extra motivation, but its never a bad thing to play the disrespect card every once in a while.
I would even be fine with them throwing this quote up on HokieVision to let the crowd see it.
At least those that didn't get the notice about striping the stadium would see the quote then...

B-b-but...the Children!
I retweeted it and tagged Zion.
I was afraid that our younger guys who didn't follow the program before 2016 don't remember how we embarrassed them in their house. They are out for revenge.
Heard a strange stat at the time. Something like only 15 teams had ever won their first game in South Bend (IIRC).
Something special to go their and get a win the first time out. Hoping to make it a tradition when we go there next time.
Next season!
I really want to say I hope he breaks something... but since I don't want/like to wish physical pain on someone....
I hope we break his soul.

We will turn him into soft shit on a rainy day!

Dear copyright office, BAG is gonna need a nickel everytime this phrase is used.
I can't wait until he false starts at some point. The crowd is going to roar.
He's #74 by the way. Be mean to #74.
You know, it's a little different when you're visiting someone else's stadium, and the crowd is cheering for the home team.
Enter Sandman.
Having attended the frigid and memorable game there in November 2016... their crowd noise ain't got shit on ours when ramped up!
Commentator: "These people are losing their mind. This is beautiful!"
THAT's what I'm talking about.
Whoever was in charge of the sound system that night laid it right in there perfectly. That was a beautiful moment.
If only I attended THAT game, instead the Clemson one the weekend before...
Why not both?
I did the same... And it's because it was an 11 hour drive for me at the time. Once was enough, and I seriously considered it for a bit but decided against it.
Commentator: This is just spectacular. One of the greatest games I've ever seen.
Liam looks like a off brand Dax... Hatin' on Liam?
Who does this guy think he is, ODUs backup QB?
Who? STFU Liam, no one would know who you were if you didn't have a jersey on.
Liam Eichenberg anagrams to "I blame cheering" which is how he'll explain the tinnitus in his ear that wasn't there before he went to Blacksburg.
this is a high quality post
Link to video of Eichenberg's comments.
"Enter The Sandman..."
smdh.
Dear ND
Liam. What dumb Limey name.
I read where Eichenberg is the one lineman that depended most on Bars, who is out for the season. Apparently Bars was the one making calls. Perhaps we can cause a little consternation between the two.
