Well well well, how the turntables ....

yall get where I'm going with this
But it begs the question, what are these hokies? A really good team that just laid a big ole stinky turd in Norfolk or a national competitor? Who knows? All I know is I'm not tempting the football gods and I will continue on with my tradition.

I write to hopefully a ton of you in hokie nation heading down to the burg this weekend. Really wish I could've found tickets but alas I'll have to make do with a bottle of bourbon and my TV. The weather outlook is beyond promising. A high pressure system has parked its butt right over the region for a good portion of the week and doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.

While the national weather service is predicting the occasional scattered shower, I'm less confident. I think at worst we're looking for one of those quick afternoon showers but honestly I dont even foresee that being likely. I think its going to be a glorious tailgating day, albeit pretty warm. However by exit light enter night, expect those temperatures to drop down into the mid 60s and cool off a little bit. It should be a perfect early fall football day. Due to the stability of the region expect little to no wind as well, should be a pretty calm day. There will be some scattered clouds to break the sun, however I'd still bring some sunscreen
Tailgate hard for me hokies and lets get that elusive top 10 win in lane
Final forecast:
High: 81
Low: 66
Precipitation: Slight chance of scattered thunderstorms/showers
Partly Cloudy
Little to no wind
LETS GO!!!!!!

Thank you! I was thinking earlier that we hadn't heard from you this week and I was wondering what to expect. I even contemplated posting a thread to ask you.
LancerHokie can confirm: I was wondering about the weather earlier as I was trying to pack for the weekend. I'm so hype right now. I might not sleep for the next two days, which is less than ideal. At any rate, GO HOKIES!!!
Gotchu fam
same here buddy...
Scrolling down on my iPhone and seeing Russia appear first at the top of the map, was confused for a second. Not used to that angle and thought you were doing some kind of butterfly effect from the Indian Ocean.
Haha just ripped it from the NWS website. I'm hoping to start making my own graphics at some point buuuut I'm kinda lazy and that's a shit ton of work haha maybe someday

I won't be there either, but thanks for keeping the hype going by adding the video. Somehow, Blacksburg and Lane will reach heights not seen or heard before. The place to be this weekend.

This was random, but made me laugh for being so out of nowhere. Have a leg.
