This dropped today. Really well written article on Caleb's journey and how the death of his mother impacted him. Very timely in lieu of House's own family tragedy. Great reminder that these guys are people with real lives outside football. It's humbling, it's sad, it's inspiring. May want to have some tissues close.

Heck of a young man to have on our team and hopefully a lot of help to his other teammates who have lost loved ones, too.
As I read this article it was a great reminder that as much as we like to stress over our games there are much more important things that these guys have to deal with on a daily basis. Caleb's perspective is truly amazing in light of what he has gone through in the last year. Proud to have him as a member of the Hokie Nation.
I love reading these articles. There's so much more to these guys than being football players. Before, I turned on the TV and watched Caleb the cornerback. Now, I tune in and feel like I'm watching Caleb the young man.
It was hinted (I think by one of the VT twitter accounts or Jon Laaser) that we should watch GameDay today for a special segment. It's probably related to Beamer or Lane Stadium, but these recent losses may be discussed at some point (my speculation).

Caleb has a ways to go to be one of the best CBs in the country, but he's on the right path.
