Great post care to maybe expand on it some more. Like for example Texas sits as a blue blood program at the top of money, in fertile recruiting area and name recognition.
UCF largest single campus college in a state where many kids don't mind living for 3-5 years O and hasn't really played anyone this year. Their 5 opponents have 10 total wins among them.

UCF's rise in the rankings is much like those of Boise, Houston, and C-USA Louisville. Likely also attributable to past seasons' successes also.

Texas? Well, for now they look believable.

You must not have watched them play last year in championship. Those teams went punch for punch down to the minute. It was a shoot out, and when they played in the regular season it was the same.
