Sorry, but to Fencer's point, our guys not giving up on those big plays saved our bacon. I know that stat line doesn't look sexy, but the effort is there from the young guys. They will continue to be coached up and improve. Floyd played with heart last night, very impressive to watch.

Fam! That was an ugly-ass excuse for a football game but we somehow managed to please the football gods with that last drive and we pulled it out. I was semi-hyperventilating with that last touchdown and the ensuing seconds. I swear I am going to die watching football.... My best friend who doesn't really watch football (and works at UNC hospital) texted me after the game asking if the game stressed me out a little. (I am a very enthusiastic/loud/crazy football fan--always have been)

I was convinced that we weren't going to pull this off at least 3 different times. Then they kept missing the field goals and we kept getting a stop. Amazing luck, Amazing effort.

I also still think he called the plays on the first drive of the FSU game. No concrete evidence on it, but he had a play sheet and looked like he was calling plays off it. We marched down the field with ease, taking exactly what the defense was giving us. Then seemed to stall out after that. I would really love to see him take over playcalling duties. Corny is struggling to find his footing right now.
