Being on ESPNU, the potential pool of viewers is lower than on Raycom. Anybody (and I mean anybody) in America could tune into the Raycom game if they want, but ESPNU is still locked not only to a cable subscription but generally a higher-tier package than the base ESPN.
But yeah, it'll still probably have more eyeballs than whatever game is on Raycom that week. Now I just gotta figure out which workaround I'm going to use to watch this one....

You'd get along great with the guy who sits behind me in Lane who spent the BC game reminding everyone who would listen that we're going to lose next Saturday too.

Yes, I know, I've used them before when I don't have another option. I don't like to use them because of the risk of malware (and yes, I know to use an adblocker, but they aren't necessarily perfect) and the general unreliability of the streams, and there are usually other options on the table, such as free trials for streaming services (already used Hulu Live twice) or finding another friend's account to "borrow". I'll figure it out between now and then, but it's still an inconvenience.

I use a chromebook for cfb streams. If it gets infected with anything, which is unlikely because no one writes malware for the chrome is, I just powerwash it back to new again

Away at Heinz Field. Should have just given us the nooner.
Are we a good nooner team?
Undefeated so far this year.

I'm just glad it won't be on Raycom
Would prefer it be on Raycom. That way a smaller audience sees us get schwacked. *ducks*
No need to duck, my man.

There's always the "upgrade your cable package" option. /s
Ah, well, see, there's a snag there... See, it's not "my" cable package to upgrade.
hey, stop bashing the team! /s
Raycom has better announcers than ESPNU.
We're undefeated on ESPNU, so that's pretty neat.
not for long!

maybe gallows humor is my defense mechanism. maybe you can keep looking for the sunlight coming out of your colon, and leave me alone!
Completely fair
You replied to me first, but 🆒
ESPNU?! I'm not sure if the subscription I'm stealing gets that channel.
Those bastards!
The subscription I'm "borrowing" doesn't, so I'll have to get creative.

If you're worried about malware, just use your phone and stream it to your TV via Chromecast.
That would imply that a) I am not worried about malware in my phone, and b) I have a Chromecast.
Don't worry, I'll figure something out, I always do.

Thank sweet baby Jesus. I really appreciate games that start at 6:30am in my time zone.
Certainly better than 3am, good gracious.
