No. 5 #UVa is a 25.5-pt. home fave heading into tonight's men's basketball season opener against Towson.— Norm Wood (@normwood) November 6, 2018
Towson is also 25.5 miles away from UMBC...

I hope the retrievers are as spiteful as I'd be and they travel en masse to cheer against LOLUVa
I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think anyone on campus even knows it's basketball season.
I hope you didn't pull a muscle stretching for that joke
We still get to joke about this though, correct? Our ODU loss did not negate our ability to make fun of UVA Hoops..
Oh absolutely not. But admit it, you reached a bit to come up with this one.
Yes - but Skutt's RT inspired me
Also something to keep in mind...
1) A total of 128 point were scored in the game.
2) Add the 21 points that both teams scored in the first half
3) Add the total tournament rankins of both team (16+1) = 17
4) Add the total number of points Nolan Gerrity scored for UMBC = 2
128+21+17+2 = 168.
Towson University is 168 Miles from Charlottesville VA. Guaranteed loss tonight.
I measured the distance between UMBC and Towson U around 10.6 miles.
1. if you add 1 for the number of times a #1 seed hasn't reached the second round. You get 11.6 miles
2. Move the decimal to the left one spot to account for the 10 years between UMBC March Madness appearances
3. Run a text-to-columns (like you are destroying the columns around the loluva picnic lawn) on the decimal to parse the number into a 1 and 16
4. Insert some 16 over 1 joke here
5. I don't know where to take this next, but UVA will probably win because games don't matter yet.
Someone is overthinking an irrelevant game.
If Towson wins, it's suddenly the most relevant game of the week.
Yeah, get back to me on that.
If I thought it were a remote possibility, I'd be tuning in.
