I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

That was me when I read the news.

Damn, that is sad news.

This was made back in February, so I'm sure there will be one out soon with the cameos since then, but I always looked forward to each of these every time I watched a Marvel movie. It will be sad to see the first Marvel movie without this Legend.

Well I guess one character isn't coming back in Avengers 4....

RIP Stan

One of my co-workers claimed his cameos in the next several movies were already prerecorded. Either way, agreed.

Rest in Peace, Stanley Lieber, and thank you.

Even still, I would bet that they would find ways to work subtle cameos into upcoming films, like adding older footage into the background or even giant posters or cardboard cut-outs

Agreed. They will always find a way to keep him in each film. It's pretty much a requirement at this point.

Damn, this is terrible news. Rest in peace Stan Lee.

What a savings

He had a good long run. Still sad to see a legend go. Rest in Peace Stan

Bummer, the man brought the world a lot of great entertainment.

Yeah, got the text a few minutes ago...came straight to TKP to mourn with my fellow comic book nerds. I wonder how far did they pre-film his cameos.

Either Captain Marvel or Avengers 4 has got to have a hell of a tribute to him now. Guaranteed.

Interesting that, for all he's done, the last cameo he had while he was still alive would be the one near the beginning of the Spider-Man video game....

I take it back, this is Stan Lee's best work as an actor.

And by far one of the most underrated movies of all time.

Though I'm familiar with this scene because of WatchMojo, I've never seen this move and had never heard of it until I saw the WatchMojo episode on Stan Lee cameos.

It is Kevin Smith's masterpiece and Prequel to Clerk's

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

It is definitely not a prequel to clerks. It does, however, take place the day before Clerks does in their Universe.

Never seen Clerks, either, but I'm not a fan of Kevin Smith.

I mean, I think it still qualifies as a Prequel. They mention several of the same things in both movies, such as Julie Dwyer. Not a direct prequel but I count it.

Also, Google "Prequel to Clerks"

Yeah nothing definitely says prequel to Clerks, just it happened the day before.

Side note, my Cousin's brother (not related to me), is little Jay, in Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, and I grew up 15 minutes from the Quick Stop.

I have met Kevin Smith a bunch of times, as he lived in my hometown. His legs were the size of my torso, thank god he lost some weight since then.

I know that this is silly but regardless:

RIP Stan the Man, your works were Masterpieces and your legacy will live on!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Some food for thought.

Just to be That Guy, but 39 was still in the first half of Stan Lee's life.

I would have liked to have seen a cameo for Stan Lee where he walks into Thor's office as a janitor, sweeping up. Dusts a table, picks up Thor's hammer, dusts under it, puts it back down, and goes on his way.

THAT IS BRILLIANT

and yes, I did just shout that...in my mind.

Just watched Teen Titans Go The Movie with my kids a few days ago, Stan had a cameo appearance in that.
