Hey all sorry I havent been active lately, my research project has been pretty demanding lately. But I write to you today as my wife and I travel to the burg for a beautiful football weekend. Yes that's right for those of you going to the game tomorrow the high will be in the mid 50s, albeit due to the clear skies expect temperatures to drop to the 30s by the end so I'd definitely bring a heavy jacket or coat into the game too just for preparation. The good news is, as mentioned before there will be very little cloud cover, lots of sunshine all day for tailgating, no precipitation, and very little wind. Should be a perfect day for tailgating
Final predictions
High 55
Low 36
Wind 5 mph gusts
Clear skies
(Hopefully) great football
Let's go!!!!!!!

There is a part of me that thinks that after I get a few beers into me tomorrow, I am not going to want to walk to Lane but watch the game from Lot 18 instead. If it gets good I can high tail to the stadium. If it's bad then I am in my happy place surrounded by so many, multiple beers.
This seems like the most logical approach.
I'm going to take a similar approach with tots. I've got a sleeve of mini bottles ready to roll if I do venture into lane.
We are all going to be in a food coma after Thanksgating anyway.
Bought, stamped, and trademarked.
You can thank Heather for coming up with that.
Is anyone bringing a golf cart to transport us to the stadium? Because that might be key to getting my ass into the stadium.
You clearly haven't learned my secret, young one. It's called Uber and allows you to tailgate longer and make it to the stadium in about the same time without walking up the hill. It is well worth my $5.
Brilliant. However, my running friends and I always remind each other that "hills make our butts look good" whenever someone complains about one. So there is that.
It's a hill, not Mt. Everest.
If you tailgate appropriately, every hill looks like Mt Everest
The hill to get up to the stadium will definitely be Mt. Everest after this tailgate. I have a 14 lb turkey I am smoking and my wife said someone is bringing 5 lbs of mashed potatoes. We may need to get an Uber cargo van to get everybody to the stadium Saturday.
Lol if this is some shade I am here for it
We are having Thanksgiving at a Tailgate= Thanksgating. Our Thanksgating feast is along the lines of Friendsgiving but cooler and in Lot 18
Might be a close game, but I'm fairly certain we won't see much good football.
If its bad football, but we win:
Whilst I'm happy for all you tailgaters, I'd prefer cold & wet home field for a Miami game. If we can't match them skill-wise, I'd be happy to exploit their reptilian attributes.
Not me. If what I'm watching is going to make me miserable, I'd at least like the weather to not pile on.
There's a solution to both. It's called bourbon.
This guy gets it!
It's more than just a clever handle.
Eh itll be cold, dont worry about that.

I can change,...if I have to,....I guess.
I'm so jealous of the weather back home. South Florida is apparently not participating in fall this year.
