Apparently it was the 2008 Holiday Festival Tournament in December 2008 against St Johns. Thanks to Mark Berman ....Never thought I would utter those words ever.

Almost like I dreamed it up. Didnt expect the scoring to get so high but those last few minutes you could see Robinson, NAW and even Blackshear had a step on their counterparts. Tech's fitness level wore them down by the end. Even better is we get a whole week to savor it since it was Pre Turkey. That and I have a loud Purdue alum that sits outside my office that will either be quiet this week or a crybaby and I am fine with either

There were plenty of things to point at as improvements from the first half but the one that we normally just secede that we saw the Hokies focus on in the second half that made the biggest difference was rebounding. Purdue had an 18-10 advantage at the half. The game finished Purdue 33-Hokies 28, so we outrebounded them by three in the second half. This team got critical defensive rebounds that led out to points. Hopefully this is a lesson they take to heart especially when we are going up against bigger teams.

I was very wrong about NAW. I didn't think he would make such a crazy leap this year. At this rate, he is for sure going to be drafted. If he were 2 inches taller he might be a top5 pick.

Man just imagine if we had Clarke and Nolley as well. Despite some of the offseason turmoil and size issues i feel pretty good about this team.
Yes. We were supposed to have two 6'7" hyper athletic wings in addition to the team that just won the Charleston Classic.
So is Nolley ACTUALLY 6'7", or is that just program height? If he's actually that tall that'll be very nice to have when he gets to play
