Crazy how our bowl streak has come full circle. JC Price and Cornell Brown were both on the team that started the streak.
I don't want the bowl streak to end, but this will certainly soften the blow a bit if it happens.

This is a cool article, thanks for sharing. It seems fitting that if the bowl streak should end, it should be partially at the hands of Hokie greats that helped start the streak in the first place.

My sentiments exactly. Brown & Price were/are both Hokie greats. But we gotta whup dat Dunderin Hurd azz.
I have this weird scene in my head where JC and Cornell run out of the tunnel, run to mid field, shake hands with VT coaches. Then they take off their Marshall gear to reveal hokie jerseys and come to our sideline to help extend THE STREAK
sorta like that scene in Braveheart with the IRISH army.

Yeah thanks, but I want to win the game. Definitely won't make me feel better if we lose this game. Less about streak for me, but more about a losing record.
My dad won a contest on beamerball.com before the 2006 season where one lucky member got to go to Beamer's house after the Northeastern game. He was allowed to take me along as a third grader at the time, and I got to meet all the coaches. The one coach in particular who I hit it off with the most was none other than Cornell Brown. I've actually yet to run into him yet on campus here at Marshall, but I'm sure he'll remember me because apparently I talked his head off for hours straight. My dad and I ran into JC Price at a Marshall basketball game one time and yelled "go Hokies" at him to which he smiled and responded "go Hokies."
Cornell is the best and he wasn't even a full time coach when you met him. He was a GA. He joined us right after he did an internship with Saban at the Dolphins.
