Best Place to Watch in NYC

Alright, I'm in NYC for the weekend and need a good spot to watch the VT basketball game tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Used to work in NY and ESPN zone in Times Square would be worth checking out.

Is this a joke? All ESPN zones are closed permanently

The one at Disneyland is the only one left, and the only one I ever went to.

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

What type of vibe do you like?

Always choose joy.

Espn zone was pretty cool but i havent been there in over 10 years. Im still debating whether to roll down for the game. (Im in jersey).

My wife takes the kids and leaves the house while I watch my Hokie games.........nuff said

ESPN Zone closed years ago.

That explains why i havent been there in over 10 years

It also explains why I should have included an /s I guess.

It looks like the VT bar is now Dewey's Pub on 30th st. b/t 6th ave. and 7th ave. Back in my day, kids (like, 6 years ago) we'd get pretty rowdy at the Village Pourhouse, but I think I heard that closed a while back. I'd assume Dewey's would be an equally good time. I also used to live by a place called Dalton's on 9th ave. just north of 43rd st. They have a bunch of tvs, had reasonable prices, and were friendly if I remember. All that of course could have changed.

We all need to talk about ESPN Zone more. I watched the rainy 2009 VT/Miami game at the one in Times Square. I had just moved there and didn't know anyone or anything, and then we kicked the shit out of Jacory Harris, so I have fond memories of that confusing place. RIP ESPN Zone.
