I like playing Miami early and ND late this upcoming season. Rhode Island game is in a weird spot but I'll take it.

I really wish we could have scheduled another FBS team, but if that's the price to pay for getting rid of ECU then I'll take it.
Still remains to be seen how many people will have access to the ACC Network when it launches is August, but I would imagine that it will only be available on the higher tiers of channel packages. I guess I'll be grabbing a stream for that one from r/cfbstreams.

Twice every 7 years on average, there's an extra week between Labor Day and the first Saturday in December. This is one of those years. The next will be 2024.
Yeah at first I thought maybe we had just gotten lucky but then I thought about how early Labor Day is and thanksgiving is a bit later and realized everyone should have two this year.
UVA will have a bye and then Liberty the two weeks before us. We will be at Georgia Tech and then hosting Pitt.
We get Miami after Bethune-Cookman, Central Michigan, and a bye.
We have Furman, a bye, and Duke

Let's see... in 2018, against those three teams, we:
- lost by 21
- lost by 30
- needed about 5 miracles just to win in OT
Yes, GT has a new coach and is nixing the option, so their offense is liable to be bad next year, but they will have had a full season to try to figure out how to play a traditional offense and their defense could be pretty good. I don't see Pitt taking a big step back, and UVA played well above their expectations in 2018 and could easily do so again in 2019.
It's not exactly murderer's row, but it'll certainly be the 3-game stretch that determines how much we've improved from 2018. If it's anything less than "a lot", we could easily drop 2 of those games.

Probably just random. And even if the ACC scheduling committee hates us for whatever reason, I don't see the point in complaining.
Cue the general public squawking about how they hate Friday Night Games and FBS teams....

See, I don't hate Friday night games. But I am not going to take a day off of Work to go watch fucking Duke. Which is fine and whatever, I will just leave work early and make it there by gametime and miss tailgating.
You're going to miss a 10 hour tailgate with all of your favorite people? One day off work is worth that.
Devils advocate...I've been to some of the top tier games in the past years. Heck, even some of the middle tier games too. I've seen them lose to F$U, Miami, Notre Dame, UNC, Duke, F$U again, BC. I'd rather tailgate for a whole day and watch a VT victory than tailgate all day and watch them lose. So if we can beat Duke this year, Friday is gonna be on like donkey kong.
So awesome to not see ECU on there, now just gotta get rid of ODU and Liberty (future schedules I know)...
