I can't believe that no where in Jacksonville is their a store dedicated to pies!
I did a quick google maps search...there are plenty of pizzerias 🍕 in JAX.

I don't think my Pixel 2 XL has been at 100% in months, it takes too damn long to charge and I don't like leaving it overnight. That said I only have to charge it every other day, which is nice for a year-old phone.

Because I'm not. I'm looking for a pie shop where I can walk in and order a slice of pie, not someplace I'm ordering a whole pie 24-35 hours in advance. Why are you so serious about us joking around? I mean if you asked for an ice cream place and I send you the order form for ice cream you can get two days later would you call that an ice cream shop? Place looks great and I'll probably order from there but a true pie shop with all kinds of pies you can order and eat lunch there with meat pies and then a desert pie is what I'm looking for.
Sorry to barge in here, no diners? They used to be the best place to get pie if it wasn't from your own/mother's/grandmother's oven.
This is a problem we have in Hampton Roads where there are no real diners anymore to grab a slice of pie at 10pm.
There are a couple but mostly chains or but there pies from a chain. That's what I'd love a local place who is making the stuff in house.
Be the change you want to see in your community. Clearly there is a need.

Sweet potato is my favorite but my other one is one I haven't had in years. My aunt made this chocolate pie that was a little firmer than many of the ones who buy but still not as firm as the mouse (sp) type pies a lot of stores or frozen foods sell. Ukrops used to have a good one too.
Let me know the next time you are going to be at lot 18, I'll make you the family ultra secret chocolate pie.

If you ever venture north and are near Savannah there are two stores in the area called Pie Society run by a British family. They make all kinds of pies both savory and sweet, my wife (who is extremely team pie) and I had them cater the desert at our wedding with little personal pies of call kinds, they are absolutely fantastic.
