Chill out on Logan Thomas. Stop hating on him. Frank Beamer has been coaching this team since before a few people hanging around here were born. I imagine he's watched a quarterback or two. If you think that Coach Beamer wouldn't put the best kid on the team under center, you have psychological problems. Go rake leaves and give football a break.
The Hokies have no running game...except for Logan Thomas. Offensive success in football starts with being multi-dimensional. In order to be successful on offense, you kind of need to give the impression that you can run AND pass. The problem with LT right now is that he is a total headcase. He's had to carry this offense on his back since last year. The main problem is that we do not have a legitimate homerun threat on this team. Don't any of you remember 2011? I do. It was all LT 3:16, Logan the Tank, or whatever other sunshine and lollipops shit EVERYBODY was gushing about. The only difference between 2011 Logan, and Today Logan was David Wilson. I know Danny Coale and Boykin were there also, but they were not the homerun threat that Wilson was. Teams were not game planning for Danny Coale in 2011. They were game planning for David Wilson. That is not a small deal. That is a huge deal.
Yes...LT fucked up today. He tried to force some stuff that wasn't there and cost the team some points. BUT if he's not in there, Boston College stomps the Hokies. Period. There is no debate.
The defense gave away a TD today also. That 62 yd run was all on our vaulted secondary. They got sucked up WAY too far, and everybody all of sudden became allergic to tackling.
I do not think LT is Tom Brady. But I'm with Coach Frank on this one. He gives us the best chance to win. Support the team, people. Still lots to play for. Payback tour resumes next weekend. #fuckthecanes.
