Whitaker went to school with Bruce. He was an awesome south paw , and combined speed,excellent stamina, and power. He could wear you down and then knock you out.
Met Bruce for the first time at mahi mahs in Virginia Beach something like 20 years ago. He was having dinner with sweet pea. Both were super nice and signed napkins for me. I was around 10 years old, it was awesome, will never forget it. RIP HOFer
