So me and a few of my buddies that I graduated with are going down for our first game in 5+ years. Since it's been far too long since we've been I had a question for all of you wonderful people.
When should we buy tickets? We will have 8 people. Should we snap them up now, or wait until closer to game day?
Thanks!

In the past, when I've needed a high number of tickets, I've found that buying single game tickets from the athletic department is the best way to go. Ticket prices from there won't change at all. You might find them cheaper on Stub Hub or a similar site, but I've found those sites to be better for a smaller number of tickets.
Edit: looks like single game tickets go on sale August 5th at 2:00 pm eastern
Single Game Tickets
I think I saw StubHub has $50 off college football tickets through today. Might wanna check on that.
is there a promo code or something? I've been keeping an eye on BC tickets but If they throw an extra 50 bucks off ill make that move now.
There is a decent chance we are 6-1 at that point, which (in my experience) makes ticket prices go way up... if we beat BC and Miami and are 7-0 prices will be sky high... Id buy them as soon as possible while people are feeling groggy after a bad season and arent excited about the horrid schedule.
If you have 8, check out the 10-ticket flex plan. You can buy 10 tickets in any combination....so 8 together for the UNC game plus 2 others, either for that game and sell, or 2 others that want to go to another game.
I would wait until folks start to actually receive their tickets in the mail. Right now it will be a pretty slim market but once everyone has their physical tickets (in the next few weeks) you should have a better marketplace.
Definitley consider the Fan 4 Pack (two of them for your group) or single game tickets that go on sale next week (8/5).
Every year is different, but this year is even more perplexing on how to list my tickets. The good news is you don't have a potential "pop game" like when we beat OSU. Downside as others have mentioned is that there a decent likelihood we could be 5-1 going into that game. If I were planning just for best price I'd wait until after BC if we were to take the L you'll get a real good price (hurts to say this), but if we win definitely before the Miami game. A potential Miami win would have me upping my price a decent amount. This all assumes we don't go full dumpster fire in the middle.
