That table is in the basement, not in the Commonwealth Cup cafeteria.

How dare you. It's currently occupying the space we reserved for a national championship.

38-0 bro

52-10. Have to give them a little hope, otherwise it just looks like we're being mean.

38-0 but i feel like that table might be a little full so 33-21 if i need a backup.

Gobble Till You Wobble

My thought too. 38-0 is so iconic, but 33-21 might have actually been a better Virginia team.

Also, for some reason, the 17-14 in 2008 is extremely memorable to me. It was freezing cold, pretty sure it was lightly snowing, my toes were completely frozen in my shoes. I can clearly remember a few things: UVA waiting until the last game of the season to unleash the Vic Hall read option attack, Tyrod's 70+ yard scramble to give our struggling offense life, Dorian Porch's interception in the EZ, and Purnell Sturdivant's sack to seal the win.

Yep, spit snow during that game. I've been to colder, but that's the only Tech game I've ever been to that it snowed.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

24-20 is the thinking man's table. That 2014 game is very underrated.

It also gave us the double birds #HokiesRespect sign guy gif, which is also a huge plus.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

"Now Miami wants to talk about it." *Cue Enter Sandman*

Amanda Seyfried is the one getting disrespected there. By the Hokies respect sign AND middle finger dude.

Well, at least she wasn't being disrespected by Regina George for once.

If you play it, they will win.

21-17 Tech wins again...

36-29, not seeing it...

Best UVA-VT Game ever.

I've always been a big fan of 38-13 (1990), but it's not in the current streak.

I don't know about y'all, but I'm smoking in the bathroom with 115-0 circa 2019.

If you play it, they will win.

52-14. Also a sneaky good LOLUVA team, that had no chance of winning whatsoever.

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

24-10 the 2004 game because my longtime friend that ended up at Tech with me and I woke up at 5 am after partying too late the night before and made the drive back to BBurg in time to make it into Lane for the nooner and my first game and the start of the streak. in some cold weather

OR

33-21 the 2007 game because a fraternity brother had some old HS friends at UVa and we had a helluva weekend terrorizing and antagonizing C-ville and the Hoos

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I like table hopping so I will go with all of them. Bask in the glory!!

I know it's from a while ago but I'm still partial to the '83 squeaker, 48-0 win in Lane North where we tore down their goalposts.

From the 2018 VT-uva game-"This is when LEGENDS are made!"

That's probably my favorite game of all time. Had been out of school for about 7 years, had just moved back to Va, and went to the game with about 30 or so Sigs, wives, or girlfriends. That was the most fun I've ever had at a football game.

It was heaven!

*thinks to self* "30 cigs during a game?!" *thinks for a second longer* "...that's not what he meant whatsoever."

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

I'm most impressed at him taking 30 sigs, wives, or girlfriends to the game together and managing to survive when each found out about the other 29!

38-0.. could have been 60-0 if Beamer wanted to...

I was pretty drunk at that game, but I think we kneeled on the ball inside their 10 to finish the game. One of those few times I wish Frank wasn't Frank. Easily should have been 42-0.

Right! I wish he would have let all hell break loose against UVa a la Woody Hays going for two at the end while up big against Michigan, when asked why he did it he said "because I couldn't go for three".

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I like the 23-20 win in c'ville in 2015. I was there to witness Coach Beamer's last regular season game. It was not a pretty game stat-wise, but a last minute interception preserved the bowl streak in true Beamer-ball fashion.

p.s.: I sat in the stands a freshman in The Corps at Lane for his first game as a player and probably saw him play in a JV game which they had back then.

Ut Prosim Ad Dei Gloriam

I was there as well, that whole game had a big cloud of uncertainty around it, you knew it was Beamer's last game, you didn't know if the team was going to send him out on top or fall apart like so many other games that year, you didn't know who was going to replace Beamer, but rumors had started to swirl before kickoff, you didn't know if you were going to have to choke a Hoo with his bowtie if we lost, but the feeling after that final INT made it all worth it.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

We're gunna need a bigger cafeteria!

I'm behind the counter handing out cans of whoop-ass and bottles of BooHoos tears

"Nooooooooooo!"
~What happened?
"James Franklin to Virginia Tech...."
~Fuck me......*sigh*
"Oh my God.... They're gonna take all our recruits... like WTF bro...."
~*squints eyes in disbelief*

2018 was pretty memorable...not because of our ability...but LOLUVA's ability to throw away a sure win.

We put the K in Kwality

That has to be the most emotional roller coaster game I've ever watched and was manically laughing at the end because I just couldn't believe it happen that way.

I'm sorry nothing will be as epic as sitting in Lane last year and listening to all the trash talk. Then the glorious football gods gave them the lead and for all the world it looked like a loluva VicTory was at hand.

Having them sit there until the bitter cold end and losing was priceless.

Oh and this dude was the worst!

"Take care of the little things and the big things will come."

These two could have had the battle of the century.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

23-20 because reasons, namely

but 52-10 was nice too. happy to see sam rogers have a big game for his last one in Lane

On Thursdays we wear Maroon.

I was at 17-14 (2012). Brutally cold. In the south end of the west stands. Most recent game I've been to.

(my wife says we went to a thing in Bristol a couple years ago, but I can't for the life of me figure out what she's talking about)

17-14 circa 2012, because I got to party with the team immediately afterwards. The mood was awesome because the bowl streak was barely kept alive after Exum's int and the ensuing last-second field goal.

33-21, there was a lot of drinking in Foxridge but not everyone was back so me and my friends had an entire building to ourselves and a couple of other straddlers

37-7, avoiding, My first UVA/VT with my wife, she was excited for Black Friday shopping, and went out, only for her and the toddler at the time to get sick. I used commercial breaks to check on and clean up vomit. Not fun.

BSME 2009

the first and only time I went to Scott Stadium during the 99 season. Only reason I went was because my brother was in med school there at the time (and the Hokies were REALLY good) Great tailgate at his townhouse with a ton of Hokies. We all went to another tailgate outside the stadium before the game like a bunch of drunk barbarians, at least the looks we got said that, and the team proceeded to crush the Hoos, game over before halftime and they were a decent team that year, 31-7. It was in early October, only time I can remember it being in mid-season like that.
