The end of the 2013 regular season is almost nigh and I haz sadz. Week 12 doesn't touch week 11 in terms of marquee matchups, but all 6 (well maybe not the B1G Ten game) should be entertaining and competitive. Nothing wrong with that.

Under the radar for many fans, but Auburn is back. So is Gus Malzahn. After a year at Arkansas State, Gus was all but left for dead, he's now reached demigod status by returning to life ... his and Auburn's.
Thursday, November 14th
Georgia Tech at (8) Clemson -10.5 ~~ 7:30 pm ESPN

Courtesy of GT Sports Blog
- I haven't used Clemsoning since early last season, because Dabo's right, his teams aren't Tommy Bowden's teams. The culture is different. So since Clemson looks destined to be an at large BCS bowl participant, they wont jam it all up by losing to GT, right?
- If the ACC made a buddy reality tv show featuring coaches, 'Dabo & Paul' would be the absolute best. I mean, it might only go 3 episodes before CPJ puts Dabo in the hurt locker, but who wouldn't watch this?
Pick: GT getting the points. Paul Johnson is a pain in the ass for a lot of teams, Clemson included.

Saturday, November 16th
(25) Georgia at (7) Auburn -3.5 ~~ 3:30 pm CBS
- No matter how the rest of the season goes for the Tigers, the work Gus Malzahn and staff have done in 11 months means, Gene Chizik should never hold a head coaching job ever again
- Don't look now, but the Dawgs are getting healthy-ish again. They've weathered the health storm and now UGA is gonna be a BIG problem for teams
Pick: UGA getting the points and winning outright, because ONLY in the SEC do the teams eat their own.
***
(16) Michigan State -6.5 at Nebraska ~~ 3:30 pm ABC or ESPN2
- Say what you will about Bo Pelini, but he isn't going down without a damn fight. After the miracolous win over Michigan, I'm starting to think it's going to take a pile of coke to get him out of Lincoln
- Secretly, I am getting excited to see the Spartan defense matching up with THE Ohio State in the B1G Ten championship game. This will be a fantastic matchup
Pick: Sparty dismantling Nebraska so bad, video of Pelini f-bombing the Husker fans will be seen as it happens.
***
(23) Miami -2.5 at Duke ~~ 3:30 pm ESPNU

- Do you think the hobos, I mean nerds, errr Duke students would be willing to live in Cutcliffeville for the Fall semester too?
- Lose this and Miami will fall from no. 7 in the polls to no. 6 in the ACC Coastal (right above the hoos) ... that's the Cane definition of Back
Pick: Duke getting the points and winning. Less beat, more disciplined and they want to take it to the final weekend of the season before the ACC Coastal champ is known.
***
(12) Oklahoma State -2.5 at Texas ~~ 3:30 pm FOX
- The best way to explain Mack Brown and this season ... Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique used by the Bride in Kill Bill Volume 2 to punch herself out of the earth covered coffin to continue carrying out her revenge
- Are defenses catching up to the spread other than a few teams? Okie State total defense is 38th nationally, that's 10 spots higher than their O
Pick: Okie State covering. Texas is beat up and Mack cant keep this going forever, right?
***
(4) Stanford -3.5 at USC ~~ 8:00 pm ABC

- Ed Orgeron has coached his ass off since taking over the head coaching reings from Lane Kiffin. Read that again, ED ORGERON HAS COACHED HIS ASS OFF. Maybe there is a chance for Gene Chizik after all
- MANBALL, Bitches
-
Pick: Stanford barely covering in a low scoring, boring affair.

George Tech - they know how to play against Clemson and will control the ball
Aubie - Georgie didn't look that sharp against a turribal App St team and didn't impress against a melting down UF either. Maybe they are starting to get healthy, but I think recent results are misleading.
Sparty - This is a toss up because MSU has played some questionable games this year (see Western Mich, South Florida, Notre Dame, Purdue). I don't think Nebraska is any good either though... holy cow the Little 10 sucks out loud.
Sebastian - If the U still had Duke Johnson I think he'd shred the Duke D for an easy W. I think we're in for more of an offensive shootout and the U will make one more play to win it.
Okies - Texas isn't actually good, as they're on a 6 game winning streak over teams with a combined 23-33 record, including the bottom 5 teams of the Big 12. I don't have much faith in a mediocre Cowboys team either, but consider me unconvinced.
Stan - tough call because USC has played very stout defense and their best RB has finally found the field in Buck Allen

Looking forward to the last home game of the year and hoping to head to Charlotte in a few weeks.
Clemson - They are going to want to put on a show in their last real home game of the year.
Georgia - Healthy and looking to knock off second highest ranked SEC team
Michigan State - Sparty is going to the Rose Bowl
Miami - Canes are going to help VT out
Texas - I really don't know much about Big XII so why not, return of the Mack

How do I follow up my 6-0 week... feeling a single win coming on... Picking against the coach you hate most is a foolproof plan right?
Klempson points and win with at least 5 views of the sideline with Paul Johnson going through the stages of grief and one hand wipe at the refs.
Auburn - Don't know why but Mark Richt irritates me
Michigan State - Bo is so angry and Sparty's D' will have him wishing his was like the Suh days
Miami - Going against my mantra for the week as I want Duke to lose ASAP so VT is a lock for Championship
Oklahoma State - I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mack Brown is the biggest baby in coaching... after London of course
Stanford - Kiffin's still there right? How can pick against manball... That'd be like Andrew Miller dealing with emotions.

Klempson, cuz they are at home, and realize they are beatable (I hope)
Auburn, cuz again at home, and they are underrated
Nebraska, cuz once again at home, and the points are too tempting in a low scoring game
Miami, cuz losing to the Dookies is not an option after their Hokie melt-down
OSU, cuz UT is one of those despicable faux orange teams
Stanford, cuz the Trees know how to hurt people

I love Hardywood! Now to my picks! I realized that I wanted to pick all of the road teams, probably not a sound strategy, so I'll try this:
Klempson will hopefully not do what everyone expects them to do
War Damn Eagle Just looking for a more interesting Iron bowl
Huskers keep it close. Final score: 5-3
Da U will hopefully not give up on the season and get us to the ACCCG
Tejas Mack has the longhorns on a roll!
Stanford Man ball will prevail in Hollywood
GT - If GT ties or wins the TO battle, they cover. If not, Clemson covers, and covers easily.
UGA -
Mich St - Nebraska is an above average team and Mich St is a team slightly above that
Miami - Duke is really good. But are they really?
Baylor - That's the only team that matters in the Big12 (Sure, let's go with Texas)
Stanford -
You can't make a pick on possibilities lol
That's like saying if Clemson scores 10 points more than GT, then they will cover, otherwise GT covers.
Mad ups for the Kill Bill reference. Do not mess with Mama Bear.
Georgia Tech - WINNING. It's time for this. We all know it.
Auburn covers at home barely.
Sparty puts in work and kills it.
Miami goes ape shit on Duke.
Texas gets it done. Mack Brown does just enough to keep his job for now.
Stanford cruises.

At long last indeed. I very much enjoy these.
thanks! have a leg!
I'm glad I have fans
This always makes me wonder why I never talked to that one cheerleader I had a class with at Tech...
Then I remember, I'm an engineer.
I knew a few cheerleaders at Tech....one in particular that I photo'd (at her request) at a b-ball game. Not that I had a sniff of a chance at anything more than that.
As always, worth the wait! Turkey leg for you!
Clemson (hind sight is 20/20) late to the show, but the remaining 5 go like this:
Auburn
Michigan State
Miami
Texas
Stanford
Crap there was a thursday pick! Been way too busy at work...
Georgia Tech! No way Clemson wins!
Auburn War Eagle!
Michigan State - BO-Fense fails again in a 10-7 game
Duke all the way to the Orange Bowl!
Texas who for some reason has 7 wins
USC Because Ed Orgeron coaches old man ball.
Drinking French Monastery Ales, will have to write the name down.
Happy Senior Day! Watching on the interwebs for a 630pm kickoff here.
