I fear for our defense today. Watching from Brooklyn.

Always choose joy.

52-13 VT over UNCheat.

Watching from my house of Unlimited Optimism.

I found TKP after two rails from TOTS then walking back to my apartment and re-watching the 2012 Sugar Bowl. I woke up the next day with this username.

I feel nervous. I'm afraid UNC will run all over us. Hoping Hooker balls out to keep us in it.

Watching from my couch in RVA with my 3 week old son.

Congrats! 🎊 My 5-year-old dunked on 'em in soccer today. I feel I've already won.

Huge win, but close score

I believe we have a winner.

Hokies win by 9. Couch in

Hoping we throw all over their weakened secondary and Bud can find a way to harass the freshman into a mistake. Hokies win in a shootout.

Watching from my hotel room in KC*.

*Assuming I can get a stream to work.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Well folks, as always, there will be a football game played today.

Like I have felt before every game the last 24 years: We have a chance. Win or lose, I won't be surprised either way.
Watching from home via HULU.

I feel much more confident than I did with RW at QB. I think Hooker gives us an offense that can avoid the pitfalls of a Bateman defense and keep their offense off the field and our defense more rested.

I'll be watching from home this week. Couldn't make the trip up this week, but I hope to see Lane rocking and shaking today on TV.

Nobody asked me the right question, which was how do you feel about the QP battering ram offense against UNC?

Cautiously optimistic but nervous about our defense. Watching with a bunch of hokies in houston.

Sunny and 60's here in the 757 currently. Perfect fall football weather. Wishing I was tailgating in Blacksburg. It must be quite an atmosphere there. Feel oddly at ease with this one. Hoping Hokies pull out the win as it seems important for recruiting.

So, does anyone know how to watch this on ACCNX? I looked on the ESPN app and it said it's a media blackout in my area (Hampton Roads). What are my options?

Always nice to struggle to find the game in a prime Hokie market. I'm in the same boat here in the 757 today.

It will be on your local RSN channel. For example fox sports.

No cable 😢

Dude, me too. I've seen people say on this forum Fox Sports, Fox Sports Go app, Fox Sports app, and NBC Sports. I've got all downloaded and signed in, and none of them appear to be "the one". I guess we'll see at 3:30 when I'm frantically opening all of them.

Sometimes it's fun just listening to burnop and laaser, but I'd prefer not to for such an important game

Following along on my phone from hospice with my grandmother. She never was a big sports fan, but became a Hokie fan because she enjoyed talking to me about Tech sports. Even at the end here, she asked me yesterday if Tech had a game today. She then asked against who. I told her and she said that it would be a big challenge but then gave me a thumbs up and said she thought they'd win.

I hope the good guys pull off the victory so I can tell her.

Blessings to your family.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

Thank you! I honestly think I'll remember this game more than most others for a variety of reasons. The win definitely put a big smile on her face.

Your grandmother sounds like a special lady. Hugs and prayers for you both.

"Tajh Boyd over the middle . . . and it's caught for an interception! Michael Cole, lying flat on his back, ARE YOU KIDDING???"

Flying to Europe for work instead, and you all should thank me because the games I've actually sat down to watch this year is limited to all of BC and second half of Miami. Not watching doesn't guarantee good play (see Duke), but me watching pretty much guarantees we suck

You all owe me one. Was filling generate following gamecast from my phone and had to turn it off/airplane mode it right as we went into 2ot

Hopeful for an exciting game. I hope that our offense can keep us in it, and our defense can (mostly) shut down the run & put enough pressure on Howell to get him to make a few bad choices.

I'm missing the first quarter, so watching on delay from the couch in Columbia, MO.

I hope both teams have fun.

Lol.

False. I hope VT has fun and UNC has no fun.

That's rude.

The likely inept bartenders here in Ohio are saying they can't find our game on the Fox Sports lineup. Can anyone help me help them narrow it down and confirm a channel it will be on? HokieSports website makes it look like it will only be on in 4 states

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

A list of channels based on who the provider is:

Link

It isn't on ACCN. It is Raycom, Fox, ACCN Extra. Or the jolly roger fan club.

Good luck to all those scrambling at 3:32 to find it.

Weird, it says ACCNX Here. I had just assumed that meant ACCN.

That really stinks

Understandable, I was confused as well. ACCN is showing Duke/loluva at 3:30pm. Consistently nationally, it isn't a regional faire.

Raycom/RSN is broadcasting game and I guess ACCN is putting their brand on it. May be streaming online, but for my DirecTV, it's a hunt and pick fiasco because of all these obscure (not local) sports channels that may be blacked out.

ESPN always lists their own branding if they claim any rights to an event. Unfortunately, most of the ACC RSN games are have some sort of coverage throughout the country via other means that there aren't a lot of places where you can actually see them on an ESPN platform.

Have a little trepidation about this game, but feeling better about Hooker over Willis.

Watching the game in my living room in Salt Lake. Trying to see whether to pick up tickets to the Utes vs Arizona St game, but the weather will probably keep me away.

Still trying to find a way to watch in Columbia, SC. Outcome will not surprise me either way unless it is a blowout for either team.

Watching from home on DirecTV whom I STILL plan to drop soon.
Already drinking beer and gnawing my cheeks, to put it bluntly.

Reel men fish on Wednesdays

Just curious, what channel/station are you getting the game on?

Fox Sports South or NESN?

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

I will be away at kickoff and most of first half.

DVR is set to record 794 ECE (ESPN College Extra) and 628 NESN. I'm concerned about blackouts. Will be listening to radio broadcast until we return home.

I've got directtv and it says NESN on my guide

It said the same on mine, but I don't actually get NESN since I'm not in the Northeast. Found it on FSSO.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

Watching from section 2 in the West Stands and keeping my fingers crossed for a win.

"Exit light..."

As I did two weeks ago, going to see a movie during the game. Going to see the new Zombieland movie. Thank god for regal unlimited to save me from Tech football.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

I don't like the results sometime, but Tech football is something I hope I never feel I need saving from. You missed a thrilla.

Reel men fish on Wednesdays

I caught the end. Thanks.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Daughter is cheerleading for crunch bunch. Game got moved to 4pm. Yay.

Probably listening to Laze and Burnop during the game and scrambling to find it on DirecTV when we get home. Lots of these obscure sports channels get blacked out when VT plays.

I want to say Hokies 24 Heels 21, but man playing at Lane is a crapshoot these days. Need to exorcise that Duke loss.

I believe that we will win. Back from a week on the road so I'm not even sure if i'll Get to watch this one or if i'll just settle for listening to laaser and burnop

Feeling illogically over confident. I think VT gets out to a fast start and holds the lead. Calling VT to win by more than a score, maybe even in a blowout. I don't know why I feel this way; I'm usually a level headed fan at best, pessimistic at worst.

Strangely optimistic for the first time this year...very bummed that I'm missing out on the burg due to a stomach bug. We'll see!

I don't know. I think our offense will be able to move the ball but think the defense will break too many times. I'm thinking something around 28-17 UNC unfortunately. From Kabul, Afghanistan...via Youtube TV

Hoping for a win. Watching on ESPN Player (Europe) from Kathmandu, Nepal. Game time 1:15am.

VT BSEE '98, VT MSME '01

I think it will be close and competitive but not a slog like last year's game was.

Watching from home (Raleigh, sorta) on Fox Sports South (DirecTV 646).

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

Heading to the stadium in about 5 minutes.

Watching from home with a case of Sam Adams Oktoberfest on standby...feeling very nervous, but in good way?

I feel like the Hokies will win in a close game. Watching from South Eastern Ohio and have a few extra adult beverages ready in case things go horribly wrong.

Just finished martial arts training and watching from a friend's home in the 757 via Hulu. Putting my money on Hooker and keeping positive vibes

Practicing our motto, ut prosim, or, "that I may serve," is imperative in recognizing what it means to be part of the Hokie family.

I'm in the south end zone with my fellow Class of '69 graduates (and my wife). I've been having a great time connecting with people I've not seen in 50 years. ( Side comment: I was not sure if I would have much fun with folks that would be "strangers" by now but it has been great and I heartily encourage you to come to your own reunion.)
Ready to rock, Hokies? Let's go, Hokies!

Ut Prosim Ad Dei Gloriam

Very nervous. But I am camping and enjoying this beautiful weather.

To top it off the campground gets NBCSports Wadhington so I get to watch the HOKIES no hassle. FAM!

Captain Hook gonna lead us into victory today.

Watching from Charlotte with with my good buddy W. L. Weller (who watched the Miami game with me) so a guaranteed win. VT 34 UNC 24. Let's goooooooo!
