Did not enjoy my time there. It isn't bad, just isn't for me. 8 months of winter, and like 300 days of nonstop wind. No collegiate or professional sports for hours either.

Beautiful might be a stretch, but it's a lot better than North Dakota. Drove the state end to end thus summer, and though the eastern half is flat with not much to look at, once you cross the Missouri it's actually quite nice. The Black Hills are lovely.
However, what's with all the Wall Drug signs for hundreds of miles? It's kind of neat at first but after the 50th one it gets annoying.

I've been to Sioux Falls for work. It's a neat enough city to visit, but I can imagine how you felt living in SD for 5 years. If it makes you uncomfortable don't answer, but where are you at now that you've left SD?

Went out there this summer for a week. Stayed all over the place but spent a couple night in the Auburn area with one of our friends. Seattle is dope in my book. And it's a great place to escape the brutality of southern summer temps.

They were in Brookings today. Had we still been in South Dakota we probably would've just gotten a hotel in Sioux Falls for the weekend. We definitely would've gone.

I think there are actually a few teams in the PAC who could elevate them to being a better conference. The FIRM for HERM crew is starting to recruit at a higher level and is primed to land a few more big BC targets. Oregon is being slowly turned into Northwest early Saban Bama by Cristobal, Washington has talent and Petersen, Utah has long had excellent coaching and a nice connection for Polynesian talent, and USC has elite athletes whenever someone figures out how to use them. If Oregon and USC elevate back to contenders and can get a few of the others to be consistently good/occasionally contend, they will be a top 3 conference easily. Then you still have teams like Stanford, UCLA, and Arizona that I didn't even mention who could become factors again.
No guarantee they will be able to grow/sustain that, or if it's even possible to sustain that many P5 programs at the same time out west in today's CFB climate. It's an interesting thing to think about though as far as forecasting college football.

Something I haven't really thought about since like week 0, but what happened with Tate Martell? Like, personality issues aside, did the recruiting services miss on him that badly or what?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I think he can play, he just needs to be in a run oriented spread. He ran the Ohio State offense fine, albeit mostly in garbage time, but he's just never going to be a dropback pro-style guy. I to this day think he'd be a great fit in our offense. He is very similar to Jerod Evans in his ideal play style.
His HS was stacked but they also played the best HS teams in the country and he went undefeated as a 3 year starter. He's a good football player, but Miami's seeming offensive preference (some kind of awful pro-style offense) is a terrible fit. He's best suited to an IZR/split zone heavy type spread.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
He had been a hyped recruit since middle school. This isn't to say he hadn't improved or progressed since then, but it's quite possible he received a bit more of a benefit from having been a known quantity for such a long time.

Coming to a VT game over either ones of those games is highly unlikely. But keep up the optimistic feelings!

well hopefully they can cheer for a win today for the canes.
3TO already for pitt in the first qtr and miami finally put someone in the endzone off one. 10-3 the U start of the 2nd qtr
that dumbass chain been getting worn all day so far. eye rolls. they are tough to watch and want them to win, even harder to listen to with these guys doing the broadcast.

Could be multiples at each level, but the announcer said a statement that suggested they have at least one at each level. Not sure which LB off the top of my head but I know CB Okudah and DE Young were 5*'s
Shaun Wade also a 5* DB
Just checked 247 and they have 13 5*s on their roster at the moment.

In many places across the country, the college football team is the biggest deal in the area. It's fairly well known that Pitt can't half fill their NFL stadium. It actually seems to hurt them playing such obvious second fiddle to the real show in town. (Pitt would be much better off if the Steelers weren't around; or if they could interest the Steeler fans in giving a damn about their college team, too).

If this is a roundabout way of extending your "The staff was right to go with Willis argument" into another thread, I most certainly do not want to have that annoying shit attached to one of my posts. Jalen Hurts is not comparable to Ryan Willis, and I shouldn't have to explain that, but I will. Let's start with the intangible argument:
Jalen Hurts was coming off an SEC offensive player of the year campaign where he had lost one game as a starter, the national championship, where his last play on the field was scoring the go ahead TD...
Now, by the end of the 2017 season, there were rumblings that Tua was the best QB at practice but Bama was 11-0 and Saban didn't want to bench his incumbent starter who had almost won a national championship the year before. Not playing Tua almost certainly cost them the Auburn game, and as a result Saban prepared Tua to be his secret weapon in the playoff.
However, like I said, Jalen Hurts was an award winning, serial winner up to that point who was ****EXCELLENT at making the run reads in the Alabama offense****. He was a good fit, but ultimately not a championship caliber QB in that offense and Saban turned to Tua when he had to.
Fast forward to now, Jalen Hurts is once again making the proper reads in Lincoln Riley's offense and is a Heisman contender.
Ryan Willis is a Kansas transfer who can't make multiple passing reads and made just about every wrong run read he could in our offense. Sticking with Willis is not the same situation as with Jalen when any ounce of nuance is included in the discussion.

Honestly I appreciate the effort you put into your post but unfortunately at this point I'm already certain you have me confused with another poster or have completely misunderstood previous posts because I've never been a proponent of Willis.
Yes, I completely agree Willis is not comparable to Jalen Hurts. HH and QP aren't comparable to Tua either. I doubt many people would argue that the Alabama offense was better with Hurts under center though, which suggests that even the best coaches make less than personnel decisions at times.

This Pitt Miami game just reminds me that a) we don't have a good ACC win to our name (nor would we even if we were 4-0 instead of 2-2) and b) I have no idea whether I should be afraid of Pitt or not.

Can someone explain to me how we gave up so many yards and points to Miami? I mean N'Kosi perry blows. Our corners seem to be playing well. Why does it feel like we are so bad at times?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
1. Perry is the streakiest QB in CFB and was in that day
2. Whether they admut it or not, Miami sees us as a rival and steps in their game, similar to how they do with fsu

Pitt easily could have beaten Penn State and did beat UCF. There are very, very few teams each season, much less annually, who don't lose a game to a mid-level bowl quality P5 team (we've seen it happen to UGA, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Texas, Missouri, Boise St this year). Losing in the same fashion as last year (and 2018 GT and 2019 Duke) would be a bad loss, but I certainly don't see how losing to Pitt automatically qualifies as a bad loss.

UNC needs to stick to black if they're going to do alternate uniforms.
I'll say it. Carolina blue on black was the the best alternate uniform in college football and they never should have dropped it once Fedora's teams started sucking.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
This is an absolute best case scenario so far today. If UNC can hold on we control our own destiny & the 2 other major competitors for the division got L's today. Let's go!!
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Pretty sure they just play it sometimes, the same way we play Kernkraft 400 despite Penn State owning some amount of ownership of it. I know I've heard Wake play it too, as well as a few other schools.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I really thought that UL would be down for a couple of years, but Scott Satterfield can flat out coach. Would not be surprised to see UL challenging for the Atlantic Division in a few years.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
100% on Scott's coaching, but it's going to be tough to get the players to compete with Clemson. Maybe if Dabo takes the Skins job and Clemson drops off a little.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
He makes $10 million a year and is treated like a God at Clemson. Also he seems way more suited as a college coach. He'd have to be completely insane to leave to go work for Snyder and Allen, who would probably drug him and make a video of him passed out on a mountain of cocaine next to a hooker once they started having disputes over the direction of the team.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Yeah, but Spurrier came in during Snyder year 4 or 5, when you weren't sure if it was a dumpster fire or just a flaming bag of dog poop. Now it's year 20 and an obvious dumpster fire.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I'd bet that Spurrier got a pay raise back when he went to the pros. With the way salaries have exploded in college and the money Dabo makes, I doubt that would be the case.
Edit: per Wikipedia "Spurrier's five-year, $25 million contract with the Redskins was the most lucrative coaching contract in the history of the NFL at the time." So yeah, it seems like financials had something to do with Spurrier's jump to the NFL.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
And you don't think they'd make another most lucrative contract? I mean Gruden got 10 years 100 mil, so the bar is already at Dabo's salary. Skins just have to be stupid enough (they are), and Dabo has to be arrogant enough.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
The financials have changed so significantly that I don't think it's comparable. It's a lot more significant to be offered a $5 million salary when you make $2 million than it is to be offered $10 million when you're making $9.3 million. It's not realistic to think the Redskins are going to pay Dabo $15 million and I think it would take about that much for him to truly consider it.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
and hopefully HH and KK are getting healthy making it a win win. Couldn't help thinking about Feaster choosing 3-5 South Carolina that just lost to dumpster fire Tennessee instead of 5-2 VT
Wow the Bama game has the worst refs. A reciever caught the ball in the endzone and they called it incomplete. It wasnt even close to being out of bounds or anything.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Texas Tech just blocked a go ahead field goal attempt by Kansas with 14 seconds to go. During the return Texas Tech lateraled the ball to nobody and it was recovered by Kansas. Kansas then kicks a second time and wins.
I love college football.

Five years I spent in South Dakota. Five long years. And now, literally the first season after moving, College Game Day goes to South Dakota.
Ain't that some shit
It looks beautiful. Never been.
You didnt like?

Happy to hear that! Never lived out west before myself.
Thanks man! It's absolutely gorgeous out here

He had a hell of a last Saturday.
WOW, what a great game to attend, especially as a neutral. I had that game going on my other TV during VT-UNC.
Ellsworth?
Yep. Ellsworth.
They were in Brookings today. Had we still been in South Dakota we probably would've just gotten a hotel in Sioux Falls for the weekend. We definitely would've gone.
Could be worse. Could be Minot.
I now live two hours west of there, and five hours north of the Black Hills.
And Miami, and UNCheat. That would be a great trifecta.
Louisville, UNC and Miami winning would officially be winning the bye week, but if just UNC wins we would technically control our own destiny right?
Bingo.
Those all seem feasible too
Narrator: And they were
The Colorado-USC game was pretty entertaining.
I think there are actually a few teams in the PAC who could elevate them to being a better conference. I feel like I'm jinxing us if I watch the ACC games, might just watch little 10 games until the evening, but I dunno
Check the score and Pitt is up 12-10. I'm turning everything off
Check the scores again and Pitt lost, awesome
Duke is losing, how the fuck we lost to this team?
UVA is winning
Just gonna keep keeping my eyes away from ACC action
UVA lost, Duke lost, Pitt lost. Those are all good things for us btw. We won the bye week. Enjoy!
Something I haven't really thought about since like week 0, but what happened with Tate Martell? Like, personality issues aside, did the recruiting services miss on him that badly or what?
Guess it was just all hype. Crazy that he can't get the start at Miami, behind 2 hurt QBs
I think he can play, he just needs to be in a run oriented spread. He ran the Ohio State offense fine, albeit mostly in garbage time, but he's just never going to be a dropback pro-style guy. I think Wisconsin caught a break with the rainy weather. Otherwise, I think OSU would've thumped em. I still think it's something like...14-28 Ohio State.
What's the spread
14.5! It's as if you knew it before asking. I'm hoping it's a one score game at most...about to head to a OSU bar to watch it

The clowns are calling the Pitt vs Miami game. Does ESPN intentionally put these Miami homers on every Miami broadcast?
well hopefully they can cheer for a win today for the canes.
OSU has a 5* at every level on defense. That just makes me sick.
So 3? DL, LB and DB's?

Yea I figured they had a ton so it was worded weird the way they said it.
Chase Young will be first DE off the board as well come draft time. That dude is t-total nasty off the edge.
I'm kinda bummed I don't get to watch the Hokies today.
Rutgers giving Liberty all they can handle right now
Lmao
This Wisconsin-Ohio State game may be two hours long because of the rain.
2-0 in 7OT?
Pitt has 3 INTs, all in their own territory, in 16 minutes of game time.
Miami then proceeds to fumble at the 1 (but recovers). This is a huge coastal mess.
Miami scores - 10-3.
Quintessential Coastal game.
We all may suck, but the games are fun as hell.
Purdue is the 10pt favorite over Illinois...Illinois currently leads 10-0 with 10 min left in the 2nd
17-0 coming up on halftime. Doesn't look good for the boilermakers.
Illinois ML would have been a nice payout.
It's kinda of big recruiting advantage that Pittsburgh shares a practice facility with the Steelers.
The stands are consistently empty though. Meme status, the recruits gotta know
Ohio State is moving the ball right now, but Fields is getting pummeled.
Wisconsin has their former QB as their DC...that's...erm, interesting
Except Wikipedia says he played safety in college
Correct. He was a kick returner, but didn't register any offensive stats.
My mistake I was thinking of Lennart. Bloody Mary's will get after ya
Chase young is fucking ridiculous.
That's all I can say about Ohio State this year, v really. Just ridiculous.
Kansas State going into the half up 24-20 over Oklahoma. Didn't see that one coming!
Let chaos reign
Keep watching OU will win 2nd half 30-7
Probably, but that first half was no fluke.
Oklahoma's running backs have combined for 6 yards on 5 carries. K State has dared them to pass (Hurts has 55 yards rushing), and it was successful in the first half.
FTFY.
This is nuts.
Team that blocks a kick wins the game.Edit: jk
Wisconsin needed that badly. Great job by their special teams coach and the edge rusher.
Miami paying Manny Diaz's full buyout at Temple for him to turn the most talented roster in the Coastal into a 5-7 team amuses me.
Me too.
So far though Miami is doing us a solid with Pitt.
Chase Young for Heisman.
Anything less than a double team looks like he's playing against air.
Too bad Chase isn't a qb... Stupid Heisman
With how Tua and Joe Burrow are playing? Hell no. Chase Young is amazing, but Tua is maybe the most talented passer of the football I've seen in college
Yet Saban used an entire season of his eligibility without starting him even a single time. How is that guy still employed??

It is depressing how bad the coastal is. It is even more depressing that we are not mopping the floor with the competition.
Damn Chase
Pitt's inability to stick it in is astounding.
Miami also held LOLUVA to zero TDs.
And then we got seven? Something doesn't add up right...
The Big 12 is wild. Once a year Kansas St. or Iowa St. come out of nowhere to score a big upset at home.
Diaz turns back to Williams who promptly turns in a trash drive that culminates in him jaw jacking the ref on his way off the field.
Trevon Hill with the huge unsportsmanlike penalty to move Pitt from the 9 to the 24.I'm shocked.Nevermind it was the punter. Still not shocked lol.
I thought Trevon Hill was their punter...against is, at least
They have the same number. They are not the same person.
Remember when Oklahoma didn't suck?
This Pitt Miami game just reminds me that a) we don't have a good ACC win to our name (nor would we even if we were 4-0 instead of 2-2) and b) I have no idea whether I should be afraid of Pitt or not.

Good job Miami
Obviously we all want Miami to beat Pitt, but it is SOOOO HAAARRRRDDDDDD to cheer for Miami
Giant meteor?
Why the fuck is Pitt calling time out
Narduzzi can't say "no" to a camera.
We need to beat Pitt. That's a BAD loss if we don't. No excuses.
Pitt leads the country in sacks and is in the top 25 in multiple defensive categories.
I wouldn't call that a capital BAD loss.
That being said I hope we stomp the shit out of them on senior day.
Yes but their offense is total trash.
And somehow their guys will be having career days against us.
Is the only reason UVA is looking decent is because the rest of the Coastal is truly garbage this year? I mean no one is really good. UVA is looking the best but against what competition?
KSU is about to blow this lead. Playing not to lose.
Lincoln Riley's inability to manage clocks got you Bro........as I type this they recover an onside kick....nevermind
Sooners just recovered a beautiful onside kick
Not so fast my friend!
Oh they bout to get straight Furman'd!
Chaos ................................................................... 1
The entire nations pick 'em brackets 0
UVA has a linebacker majoring in """Arts and Sciences"""?
Wonder if that's a BA or a BS? 🤔
Maybe a BAS
I listened to the entire Miami - Pitt game on the radio today while I was working in the shop... I have to tell you, the Miami radio guys are hilarious.
Wonder if Adidas pays Louisville extra since there are never enough fans to cover up the giant Adidas logo drawn in the stadium seats in that endzone section.
I don't know what UVA did to get luck on their side, but man they have it in spades.
Hmmm...not so fast.......Perkins down.....that is the other kind of luck if he is hurt long term, no idea who the back up is.
Found something that contends with the Foghorn Leghorn one for worst helmet
The foot logo on chrome they did a couple of years ago is marginally worse.
Eh I disagree. I dig it, reminds me of the old Colorado Avalanche alternative sweaters in hockey
Perkins is hobbling off with a knee.
He only had one knee? Should make UVA easier to beat.
If Perkins is out, UVA might not win another game (outside of Liberty). They are a one man show on offense.
We'll likely find out today if they're single-dimensioned, as many of us have suspected.
But we have no idea at this point how serious his knee injury is.
Their whole offense becomes giving Joe Reed 20 touches a game and hoping for the best.
And.. Bryce back on the field. Knee looked OK on that play.
But his throws on that series looked a bit off.
I'm not sure, he can't drive the ball very well and I'm wondering if his lateral movement is gone. Even if he plays, if he becomes a pocket passer the UVA offense will be really bad.
Too soon.
I've seen this story before. Perkins is like a rubber band man. He bends a lot and looks fine the next series. He's a little bendy guy.
Looks like Perkins survived any major problems. Back out there on the next drive.
That catch from Daz... Whoah!
Why is Carolina wearing Duke uniforms?
UNC needs to stick to black if they're going to do alternate uniforms.
I'll say it. Carolina blue on black was the the best alternate uniform in college football and they never should have dropped it once Fedora's teams started sucking.
Fuck UNC and UNC jerseys and anything that has to do with UNC......
But Go HEELS(?)
Why did Louisville change QB's? Did I miss something?
Dubois out with what looked like a stinger at best.
K-State with the upset (even though they tried to lose at the end) and what happened to Wisconsin?!
I appreciate that Auburn and LSU managed drag the last 6 minutes of their 2nd quarter through the entirety of the UVA @ Louisville halftime.
Transitive property enthusiasts are going to have a field day comparing how UVA did against Louisville with how we do against Wake.
#ROLLHUMPS
Thought I was the only 🐪 on here...
Blocked punt to send the game to OT was amazing!
Big brains on UVA's return team catching the ball and immediately going out of bounds at the 14.
Man UNC does a lot, and I mean a lot of chirping after the whistle.
Lots of forced swagger around that program right now.
FYI...UVA's D is susceptible to a dual threat QB.
And their offense is susceptible to their own QB staying in the pocket.
Seriously though lol
Come onnnn Cards. L's flying high in this household.
UNCheat and Dook tied after the 3rd, c'mon heels
Things going our way so far today
Drink up those Hoo tears boys
We're winning the bye week.
RSN broadcast quality is so much better than the ACC Network
WTF is happening. They ran a play. This is a joke.
This is an absolute best case scenario so far today. If UNC can hold on we control our own destiny & the 2 other major competitors for the division got L's today. Let's go!!
That's a terrible call on the clock IMO. Won't matter, but it was bullshit
Are you shitting me
UVa gets every break known to mankind, always.
Bronco is the best whiner coaching college football.
Also, somehow, that onside kick only took 2 seconds.
Louisville trolling LOLUVA by playing Enter Sandman!!! so great
Pretty sure they just play it sometimes, the same way we play Kernkraft 400 despite Penn State owning some amount of ownership of it. I know I've heard Wake play it too, as well as a few other schools.
LMAO @ L-Ville trolling the wahoos with Enter Sandman.
NC trying to choke up by 3
I have to protest that Louisville is playing enter sandman, though.
Did Louisville just play Enter Sandman on the stadium speakers right before UVA's last hail Mary? That's excellent trolling.
Best. Bye. Week. Ever.
ESPN played ESM during CGD just before the celebrity picks!
We're about to go 3-0 on the bye week FAM!
I think UNC wants to lose another close game
Unc went for it on 4th and 4 at the duke 13...they really don't trust their kicker, do they?
EDIT: they got the first! And fumbled the next play. Me and everyone else who took UNCHeat (-4) would like to say: " fuck you heels"
EDIT 2: UNCHeat picks off duke in the end zone to save a 3 point win. Fuck you heels
#goACC
I really thought that UL would be down for a couple of years, but Scott Satterfield can flat out coach. Would not be surprised to see UL challenging for the Atlantic Division in a few years.
100% on Scott's coaching, but it's going to be tough to get the players to compete with Clemson. Maybe if Dabo takes the Skins job and Clemson drops off a little.
Oh he would be stupid to do so, but Spurrier
Yeah, but Spurrier came in during Snyder year 4 or 5, when you weren't sure if it was a dumpster fire or just a flaming bag of dog poop. Now it's year 20 and an obvious dumpster fire.
And you don't think they'd make another most lucrative contract? I mean Gruden got 10 years 100 mil, so the bar is already at Dabo's salary. Skins just have to be stupid enough (they are), and Dabo has to be arrogant enough.
The choke job by UNC is remarkable
nc blows
nc really blows
UNCheat is the opposite of clutch
Pass int on nc at goal line. Kinda remember that
Lol at that awful jump pass
And we now control our own destiny again... thanks for a shitty play call Duke
What the fuck was that lolol
Hahahaha Doook
So...
Apparently we are all but tied for first in the division.
What the hell
Don't think about it too hard.
BYE WEEK FAM THREAD LET'S GOOOOOO
INT! nc will win! WE be good!
There it is! We control our own destiny.
Bwhahaha! Eat shit: Pitt, loluva, and dook!!!
LOL wat
Mack Brown getting emotional is eye rollingly nauseating. It's so forced it's insulting
Mack's fake tears are what they use to salt the celebratory mashed potatoes at the K&W postgame celebration
Wut.
So Pitt lost, UVA lost and Duke lost.
VT, however, did not lose.
This has to be the best bye week ever.
This is how you win on a bye week!
and hopefully HH and KK are getting healthy making it a win win. Couldn't help thinking about Feaster choosing 3-5 South Carolina that just lost to dumpster fire Tennessee instead of 5-2 VT

OK, how do you put in the giphys again?
I gotchu fam
Auburn LSU is taking for godamn ever
A CBS tradition
Now if BC can pull off the improbable upset my weekend will be complete.
Yeah... That isn't happening.
Bama is for the first time under Saban having a backup start a game. How do they have that kind of injury luck to never had a starting QB miss a game?
They have an Oline that doesnt allow the QB to be touched.
This.
I could start at QB for Bama and win 10 games.
Jones is just dinking and dunking and the receivers are just making plays.
I've never seen so many good looking onside kicks.
Aussies
Wow the Bama game has the worst refs. A reciever caught the ball in the endzone and they called it incomplete. It wasnt even close to being out of bounds or anything.
😂😂😂
Lmao, the coastal has proved my statement to be most foolish
Yeah stress free my ass. I'm a ND loss from going unwinfeated on my bet slip this weekend FML
macraw83: *reads this*
Also macraw83: *looks at ND-Michigan score*
RIP
Need-to-have-it game for Harbaugh and the boys in blue. Very interested in this one.
I hope it goes to 7 overtimes.
Mrs. Dave..."Who does Alabama have for a backup QB; Tom Brady?"
That is a Bolles kid FYI. You know 20+k a year school.
Haha ND has 2nd and goal from the Michigan 49
EDIT: Never mind. ESPN game cast error.
Is Mike Sainristil (#19) a starter on the UM offense?
Edit: backup WR on ourlads. Seeing him on the field a lot blocking, mostly.
Rooting for ND tonight, I guess
I hope it rains when we play ND.
Same
Snow!
With weather like this I'm surprised Brian Kelly doesn't want to put someone in a lift to film this game. What a terrible human being.
We're gonna get a pissed off Notre Dame squad
maybe they were looking ahead?!?! 😮
Or we'll get one that may be hungover after a game that essentially costs them their season.
Think we can get Don Brown to replace Bud?
I've always liked Brown.
Notre Dame...trap games will get after ya!!
I'm really hopeful Michigan puts a physical beat down on ND tonight.
ND rush D has been suspect all year... If QP starts and we run the 6 OL, 2 TE man ball offense, it could be interesting
Whole eesh it. Halfway through the third quarter and ND has 3 first downs and 52 yards. Overrated much?
And now they get a TD. You jinxed it. Are you happy now?
Michigan might have some "trash" fans, but their aim is out-fucking-standing.
That PI call was 100% BS.
stoptheyredeadalready.gif
Texas Tech just blocked a go ahead field goal attempt by Kansas with 14 seconds to go. During the return Texas Tech lateraled the ball to nobody and it was recovered by Kansas. Kansas then kicks a second time and wins.
I love college football.
Did the kicker recover that?
Kicker stays 10 yards back the whole play- it was either the guard or the long snapper who fell on it
Someone in the ND/Mich game thread alerted me to the game, and I tuned in JUST in time to watch this whole play unfold...it was fantastic. Honestly pretty happy for Kansas to get that win!
Tulsa's starting kicker last year is now the kickoff specialist for VPI.
Tulsa's starting kicker this season missed a chip shot as time expires: Memphis wins 42-41.
Praise Portal!
I gotta say it's impressive how the staff at Memphis has maintained the success that Fuente started
Notre Dame with the rare self forced fumble.
So will there be a QB competition at ND this week?
Oh man, we are gonna face one pissed off ND team next week.
... Oh man we are going to steam roll one sketchy run defense next week 😁
