Man it feels so good to utterly destroy a ranked team at home.
The fans absolutely deserve that
We beat a ranked team by 19 and it was not nearly that close. We should have won that game 50-10. What a perfect way to honor Bud.
Bud absolutely deserved that
So many broken ankles.
Cam Phillips would be proud
Thanks Joe this is great!
when you get to work on Monday morning and see a Giftory dropped
Does anyone know what the WF quarterback was so upset about after the Dax pick, besides the obvious?
I believe he was upset with his Oline for not blocking the dude that hit him caused the bad throw.
This giftory got me like
Pictured: Me (black hat/grey coat) chasing Jarrod Hewitt and Reggie Floyd because I wasn't fast enough to get in front of the gatorade bath.
Is it humblebragging when I called myself too slow? <_<
It's humblebragging BECAUSE you called yourself too slow.
Exactly this
Not hating on you mumansky, but it is the definition of humblebrag
hum·ble·brag
an ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement whose actual purpose is to draw attention to something of which one is proud
Hummblebrag all that you want. You earn the right every game.
I've got no quarrel with this. If I was a good photographer and got to take pics every Saturday in Lane there would be no humble to my bragging. I would unleash the hounds of full on bragging.
I saw a closeup video of "the bath" on Twitter earlier that must have been yours. Maybe some kind soul could embed it in this sub thread. Beyond my skill set.
Another View. Great Timing on this one!

That play on the sideline by Hazelton worked so well because a few plays prior he softly ran out of bounds. I wonder if that is strategy or if he got his ass chewed?
yes! I even was about to comment in the game thread about how he needs to plant his foot, put his shoulder down, and cut upfield. At that point it was still a six-point game in the 4th quarter -- as i had the comment typed out, he actually did take the next one upfield, so i didn't post it.
some plays are designed to pick up a few yards and minimize wear and tear on players. the chargers used to throw about 5 swing passes every game to LaDainian Tomlinson that would pick up 4-6 yards each as he ran out of bounds before the defenders closed in, and this was by design to get him touches and pick up easy yards while not subjecting him to a pounding between the tackles.
but a 6'2" 220 receiver should look for more yards on every play unless game clock dictates he should go out of bounds.
So many stops on a dime to change directions, holy crap. And I love that Bud braced for the cold of the gatorade, and almost immediately started jumping with the team.
Follow up:
I didn't get to watch the game live. Was this a 5 yard penalty against VT? I can't tell if Wake is moving. But, even so, set the tone for the center the rest of the game, for sure.
nope, Wake false start and a smart and fun play by crawford to make sure it didn't go uncalledoops, see below
I thought that was us then next play they had false start to wipe it out???
you're right -- this was the first and ten offsides on Crawford, not the second and five false start on wake. both happened at same time on the game clock
Please tell me the false start on the next play was on the center. Please. That would be gold.
Told my dad while watching live, if you're gonna jump offsides, make it count, like this one
The best part about this one is that the graphics crew screwed up on the down and distance marker on the field. I was in the middle of making fun of them as we picked it off. Made for an extra chuckle.
-Graphics Guy
It's really too bad that we couldn't get someone between WF#23 & Crawford. He might have had the elusive fat guy touchdown.
It looked to me like he rolled on top of the tackler and was never actually down. Would have loved to see him keep running
I thought the same when watching the game.
watched the gif 20 times, I think you're right
I think the top of his
rightleft shoulder hit.FIFM.
His left shoulder hits the ground. It's the only way he makes the flip.
Love this Joe, thanks!
Bud wasn't the only one drenched in that ice cold Bud bath. Check out Austin Cannon frozen in time with Bud 'til his senses came back to start jumpin'.
This shows why Hooker fits this offense. This TD only happens if you're a threat to run the ball.
Agreed. Beautiful watching two defenders follow the wrong guy. And McClease has come a loooong way. That hole isn't there when he gets the ball...a little stutter step creates that TD.
You can almost see the twin realizations from the defenders chasing HH and the "rocking baby" that they have been had. The simultaneous shoulder turns and arm swings make them look like synchronized swimmers for a moment. Definitely one of my favorite plays so far this season.
It looks like a glitch where the image has a shadow
McClease is also open for a pop pass if Hendon keeps
