I missed the last two games because I have been fighting some evil bug. I ain't missing this one come hell or high water.
I'll be making the trip with APFOW Sr. and some family. I don't know how much tailgating will be had with the early kick, but we'll be somewhere in the Fontaine lot. May just show up, throw some bourbon in my belly and my AssPocket (remember the plastic flasks for this one, folks) and roll into the game. We'll see.
Who's making the trek to help our little entitled brothers put some butts in the seats for at least one game and fill Lane North with Orange & Maroon?

Making the first trip to lane north. Getting the impression that fontaine is a good spot to find a free spot and set up shop tailgating?
Got to get a full day's worth in by noon so we'll be early.
Yep. Really, the only downside to Fontaine is it's a bit of a hike.
But if it's your first trip to Lane North, heed the plastic flask advice if you are so inclined.
Inclined. Preciate the advice.
No problem. Didn't want anyone to be caught off guard like I was 2 years ago. Had to hide my AssPocket by a car near the gate. Still found it later.
It's less than ten minute walk though and it's always great walking back after the game cause it's 70% hokie fans celebrating together while the uva fans just march with their heads down
Is it really? It always seems like forever. But then again, I'm always on bourbon time.
Looking for a good place to park, any idea which building the fountain lot is close to for directions?
Look up Fontaine Research Park in Google maps and you will get here. Still plenty of spaces towards the back.
Fontaine is getting pretty full. Lots of Hokies, probably 80/20 in this part of the lot!!
Will be there! Have only missed one game (last year) since 2014. Got a good streak going.
I'll be there. Haven't missed a home game AD, won't start now. Section 115!
"My name is Kevin. That's my name. They call me Kevin, cause that's my name. ROLL CALL"
Nah but for real I wish I was going but family time is keeping me on a couch in front of a TV.
Taking my dad and brother, both Hokies by relation. Not sure how much tailgating will happen, but we'll be there loud and proud
This almost deserves its own thread but I haven't tested it you can get tickets from UVA for $90...cant embed on mobile but this tween explains how...

Supposedly UVA jumped on it and fixed the loophole pretty quick.
"Quick! Get the Tech grad in here. This code fucking sucks!"
Will be there with some bros!
This will be my first time not attending this game since 2004. Is that a problem?
I'm remembering this post! But I have faith.
I'll be there with my daughter. She's planning on going to Tech next fall. Tailgating at u hall.
Bringing 5 Hokies for omlettes, authentic Buena Vista (San Francisco) Irish coffee and a old school beat down
Will be in Fontaine with some friends! Let's make it a home field advantage!
Going to Lane North for the first time. Looking forward to Hokies taking over the stadium the same way we do to Wallace Wade.
Thanks for the warnings about metal detectors. I was planning on bringing my loluva sucks license plates into the stadium but will have to leave them behind.
We'll be in Fontaine about 8:30. Been following Hokie football since my freshman year in 1983 and this will be my first UVa game in person.
Drinking the bourbon on the walk to the stadium.
Holy Shit, dude. Finally.
I'll be there plus one. Already prepping the vocal cords for maximum effort 👍
I recall reading somewhere that bourbon is really good for that.
A friend from Pritchard told me that fact
First ever trip to Lane North. GO HOKIES!!
I'll be there for half #2. I'll be scanning tickets at the East Gate for the first half. Middle-aged white guy with, ahem, a salt-and-pepper beard, if you wanna say hi. No clue if I'll actually be able to "accidentally" let the Hokies faithful through via scanner "malfunction", but if someone says to me "TKP, stick it in" I'll see what I can do.
Gonna take you up on this. Be me and my buddy (tech grad). Two 35 year old bearded taller guys. I'll be wearing a long sleeve maroon vt shirt prob. Let's go!
Hokies!!!
I'll keep my eyes open. Not sure how this all works (never done it before) but I'll do my best. Don't forget the password!
ALERT!
I'm being moved to the WEST gate.
Fill up Scott Stadium and once again terraform it into Lane Stadium while terrorizing UVA in their own front yard. I'll be in Greensboro with the family rooting on the Hokies.
Hokie Nation be loud and proud. Represent. Stay classy. Win like you've won before. 15 in a row, btw.
Taking a charter bus from Roanoke. Here's to a happy drive back to Texas on Sunday.

This is awesome.
I will be there, section 519, with my girlfriend. I'm taking advantage of my work and parking on our loading dock and enjoying a 3 minute walk to the stadium. If you don't have a plastic flask Jim Beam airplane bottles are all plastic (some airplane bottles have metal caps). Also the lines to get in will be long and move slow (remember this is the only game every other year that has more than 40k people in attendance) so plan on getting there early to get in for kickoff.
Surprised my Dad with tickets for Thanksgiving. We'll be drinking bourbon and getting our stomachs warm for the game. GO HOKIES!
Word in Cville is that there will be orange rally towels. I'll be bringing a maroon one...just sayin.
This shows how ignorant the super smart Hoos are. Why would you have really towels made in one of your opponents primary colors?
I guess they are just staying prepared for the takeover!
Gotta wipe those tears away with something.
To all our fellow Hokies representing at Lane North, do that in style n show them hoos what fans are.
My wife n I r watchin from a small tavern on Coueymans, NY. We'll be reping chicago maroon and burnt orange and cheering loud (we may be only people there).
We're here in upstate NY, helping celebrate my wife's grandmas 100 yr bday Sunday w her family.
Getting 11" snow Sunday and Monday.
GO HOKIES!!!!!!!
