It's not worth the risk just to soothe fans a little. Anything the lawyers let Whit say at this point would be completely devoid of any actual information.
I see your point. I guess I just feel like soothing fans is sometimes important, even if it is devoid of actual information.
As a fan, I agree! I would enjoy some soothing. I just don't think we'll hear a peep from the AD until there's a resolution one way or the other. Too much liability.

Really not much to say that's helpful. The words coming from the AD will be totally different depending on if he stays or leaves. Depending on what is said, they could look bad if he stays, or look bad if he leaves! Better to zipper the lip until the decision is made
I'd love to hear a Whit retort to Fuente, "Don't put me in a position to pick between an individual and the team, because I will pick the team every time."
