Joe Lanza and TKP Staff Appreciation Thread

I saw the following tweet today:

Combine this with some of Joe's recent posts I thought it would be good to say why we enjoy this site and discourse it allows for. Me first:

In 2017 I moved up to the Boston area, where College athletics (outside of Hockey) are not really a focus of sports fans. As much as it sucks sometimes, I was used to going out or into work and getting a bunch of crap for bad Hokie losses, and then being able to relish in victory whenever VT did something of note. TKP allows me to stay in touch with the day to day of VT sports, even if the discourse is less than ideal at times. So thank you Joe and the entire TKP staff for allowing me to continue to have this up in New England.

If there was no TKP I'd probably still just be reading the ESPN ACC blog during football season and otherwise be completely disconnected from the Virginia Tech sports fandom.

I only ended up here because the ESPN ACC blog linked to this TKP Gobblermetrics article about #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING in 2014. Although I had purchased a HOAT shirt from here some time before that for my wife without really paying attention to the site's content. I was just looking for a HOAT shirt.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

The content provided by the TKP staff is top notch and provides insights on VT Sports we don't get in other places. Thanks to Joe and his entire staff for that. Kudos and Salud!

Also, much of the discussions herein are great and provide an avenue for understanding the broad swath of VT fans perspectives. Granted some of those are negative - and in some cases deservedly so. Everything in life includes positives and negatives, the good with the bad, etc. It is always that way. I've figured out how to filter some of what I don't care to read out for my own taste - and I'm sure other TKPers do this as well.

I'm hopeful that the somewhat recent tilt on this scale, which certainly has hit a nerve with Joe, doesn't lead to the end.

I love this community. I would hate for it to disappear.

And, the wandering sub-threads and other non-sports related threads are often fun and hilarious.

And, the fishing threads are, as always, great and refreshing.

I am so much more knowledgeable as a fan and greatly appreciate the insight and opinions from the community, sometimes people just need to remember we all want the same thing, the success of Tech as a university and as an Athletic department, we just have different opinions on how to get there

VT '17

I met Joe once and he looks nothing like his picture.

More importantly, I love the content that Joe and his staff produces and I even enjoy the discourse deep within our discussion threads.

This is a great community that I'm thankful to have. I only wish that I was a TKPC member earlier in the drive.

Wait...your name is Pete Nocchio?

This doesn't look anything like you.

It was ridiculous. I was expecting a beardless guy eating a sandwich (or whatever that is) and instead its a bearded guy drinking a beer.

Total ripoff

I come to this site because even these days in spite of all the BS, I enjoy the community, and that's what I believe keeps everything going around here. Joe and the staff, you are great, and all you other a-holes on here are usually alright too and keep me laughing and informed. Thanks to everyone.

I've searched on other college sports blogs....TKP is the best one I've seen. Content is awesome....and I enjoy logging on almost every day. Big thanks to TKP team for making it happen. We appreciate what you do - and many of us appreciate it so much - WE PAY!!!!

I love TKP

If a tree falls in Scott Stadium does it make a sound?

TKP is my Hokie friends and family, full stop. This has long been my deepest and most intimate access to VT sports. I hate that it hasn't been as fun for Joe to run TKP, but I can assure you I appreciate the site, and all the work the staff and contributors put in when times are good and times are bad.

I love this bar!!!

Oh, this is a Virginia Tech football blog? Well, that's cool too. I'll stick around, but I'm keeping my drink.

Seriously, though... Joe, we love this place and what you and the guys do. I didn't make a big deal of this at the time, but as promised, I got my key back two weeks ago. So, you can't leave now! I don't need no stinking badges, though.

If you play it, they will win.

Living/working in Latin America means I haven't been able to satisfy my love for all things Hokie since the last home game I attended in 2004. Finding TKP and watching it grow into the very best source of information, analysis and dialogue for everything related to VT athletics has been pure joy. I don't comment frequently and score mountains of legs like Alum or HF, but I read everything they and so many others post. Thank you Joe and company for making my Hokie fandom a reality 3400 miles from Blacksburg. Love you guys and the amazing work you provide. I'll be TKPC until you turn out the lights.

I only still visit that other site because my dad once logged in on my computer and saved the login info.

This is my primary source for all things VT. Where else would I get comprehensive WBB, Wrestling, Softball, Baseball, and Soccer content?

Never Forget #1 Overall Seed UVA 54, #64 UMBC 74

+1 for the shoutout to wrestling and other Olympic sports. But the other site level has the cred and smarts to do podcasts (Jason Bryant) with Coach Robie. I wish I was on that level for both.

If you want level-headed opinions, don't go on a message board or sports forums

I spent what seems like several years just searching google for news related to VA Tech football. I'd look at national news, other VA Tech fan sites and whatever I could find. Ultimately, I realized that TKP had higher quality content and a better community than anywhere else. I have stopped looking at any other sources and now go straight here daily for my Tech obsession. It's hard for me to contemplate life without TKP because the community, even though I just joined recently, is similar to what I liked about having gone to Tech. I really, REALLY appreciate having TKP available.

Having said that, I'm hoping Joe and maybe some of the other staff will jump on this thread and ask what we as TKP community members can do, what's in our power to change, to make TKP fun to run again, because I sure as hell don't want to lose it!

PS - If it's paying, I really do want to get fully dipped, just dealing with some financial struggles right now, but hope to be able to join a little later this year.

For me, creative projects such as the Valentine's Day cards are fun. I enjoy the Xs and Os conversations and publishing great work. I'm less thrilled about some of what it takes to get there, the latter two. It's essentially a grind and with two kids and a full-time job it leaves me short on sleep. Although, I am doing my best to balance some of that as of late.

Paying for TKPC is the best way to support TKP and support the site moving forward. There's no way around that. However, it's free to spread the word to other Hokies, foster and create engaging forum discussions, and share what TKP publishes.

Thank you TKP, I'm on here almost everyday, may not contribute to each article in the comment section but do look for new topics as much as I can.

Hope we continue the conversation.

Thank you Joe and the entire TKP staff for providing me lot of insight and entertainment over the years.

TKP Staff Fam Thread! Let's go!

I don't often contribute much of any substance but I check this site every day for my Hokie sports news. Even when I try to sheepishly ignore it for being a drunken a-hole in the NHL Playoffs thread.

Thanks Joe and the team!

"Why gobble gobble chumps asks such good questions, I will never know." - TheFifthFuller

Thank you Joe for a great site. I only hope you don't feel pressured into keeping the lights on while the drain is pulling down your quality of life.

"I am probably too rational to be here"

Don't know how I'd get through my work day without TKP!
And for that all I have to say is...

Thanks to Joe, the staff, the articles, and especially the forums filled with opinions, insights, and a surprising amount of knowledge, I joined TKP last year. While I have appreciated the site almost daily, I can understand a bit of where this may be coming from. It hasn't been super fun lately due to the division and the shortage of great news. That said, winning cures a lot of ails, and if Fuente & Co (as well as Young & Co in future seasons) can right the ship, I imagine this whole thing, from both a fan perspective and an administrator perspective, becomes a lot more fun.

Regardless, I very much appreciate this site and I hope you guys keep doing the good work! How else would I spend my work breaks?

I'm just here to sling some legs

I love Virginia Tech and Virginia Tech sports. Without TKP I would know nothing about some of our amazing Olympic sports, wrestling specifically.

I love that there are people like Fireman and DCWilson that I will disagree with a majority of the time, but I get an insight into a completely different perspective. Even if I don't agree with it, I appreciate it and feel like I learn more about our fan base.

Even though the NCAA tournament had the worst possible ending, loluva woof, I had so much fun here during our run. My wife would get legitimately upset with me for watching a 2 hour basketball game and then spending the next 2 hours talking about it to strangers on my phone.

Thanks Joe and everyone that officially runs or contributes to the site. Thanks Alum and Fireman and everyone that takes us in crazy directions and make super important urgent announcements.

Be kind to one another. We all love Virginia Tech and TKP, even if not in the same way.

I love the idea of this thread, but in isolation, it's not the support Joe probably needs. Bring this positivity, the level approach, the willingness to champion TKP, and the willingness to pony up some cash for TKPC to other threads.

I haven't been around for a while. I absolutely see some of what Joe has been dealing with. I just don't know if there is a solution to it all.

I sincerely appreciate the hard work, selfless dedication, and blue collar approach you've taken with TKP. Add in VTGM as well. Articles have always been great, but with the last few months to a year excluded, this place always felt like friends getting together to talk shop. Just hoping we get back to that.

The ones that get on my nerves are complaining about an article or giftory seconds after it came out. I get you might not love the giftory because it left out your favorite clip. Or that you might disagree with Brian or French about something. Try something constructive or supportive rather than critical. Awesome giftory but I think this was my favorite. Great write up but I don't think we can match Clemson's speed up front. Something other than "LAME, where is the gif of Fuente flossing while Bud dabs"

I don't know man. Maybe? I used to be on TKP literally at all hours. Second monitor, different tab, phone, whatever. I LOVED being here, the conversations, the fun, even when we had bad years. It was like drinking with your buddies. You were there because you had a good time.

It's just turned into...work? Any positivity feels like it's challenged. Any hope is crushed with statistical analytics. I remember the first 'casualty' was BeardofDeChristopher I think. It just became oppressive and I don't think community moderation helps. People are allowed to be negative, but I never experienced negativity in the same volume as I have recently with TKP.

I think part of what is going on here is that a large chunk of members were of similar age, and are now feeling full pressure of adulting.

I first learned of this site a few years ago when my wife signed me up for TKPC club for Christmas. Since then this place has been my go to for all things VT, and sometimes mayo gifs and other stuff too. I can safely say that I spend more time here than all the other sites I regularly visit combined. A heartfelt thank you to Joe and the rest of the TKP staff for an great website, top shelf content, and a generally awesome community. Here's hoping this place can get back to being fun for you.

My attention was brought to this site back in 2012 when an article was published about student conduct in the NEZ. I have visited daily ever since. This site is ran/ organized far better than any other fan forum site out there.

One of the best things about this site is the self moderation of the community. I know it can get out of hand sometimes, but it is by and large kept on a (for the most part) sane level.

The staff does a phenomenal job reporting. Keep up the great work, guys! It's been fun to watch the growth over the years!

Thank you very much

That's MUCH better!

I'd propose that it's a parallel to what I'd personally say as well:

Talking about VT football used to be a lot of fun, and now it's really not.

I appreciate TKP far more than I appreciate the actual results of VT football for 10 years now.

My 2019 Season Challenge: only comment with Star Wars memes. (completed as of Nov. 29)

I ran a community website years ago for a game I was into. The site was only a fraction of the size of TKP, and it was a real headache at times. Joe, keeping this site going is a real gift to the community, but obviously also a burden. Please know how much we appreciate it, and as many else have expressed in this thread, this is the only place I visit for Hokie news and community these days.

I know stepping back is hard and managing others adds its own challenge, but maybe there's a way to recruit some more community members to help with things like community moderation or content development. Perhaps that would free you up a bit to do the things you love on this site and not feel so overwhelmed by it.

I think every VT fan could use a spoon full of winning. None of us will feel quite like the fun has fully returned until we stomp UVAh in the Burg next year

Joe and staff, I appreciate your work and this is still a fun, entertaining and informative place to come and hang out. As many have said already, please know how much you are appreciated for the vision and dedication that has made this community great. But personally, I hope you balance that with the quality of life you are seeking outside of TKP. No one here who has valued this experience would want to repay you with increasing drudgery and misery just to satisfy our fix. Best of luck with finding the right balance.

"Don't go to, go through"

best VT site out there; no one else is close

As a matter of policy, I generally don't join any club that would have me as a member.

But Joe is willing to accept my fees and let me log in. So there's that.

I can't think of a better place to get news about VT football and other sports. In spite of our different perspectives, this site offers a lot of laughs and and an opportunity to discuss a program most of us hold in high regard.

Been a member for 6 and a half years now. I love TKP, and even though I've become a less active poster over the years, I still read the articles and discussions on here daily. This is basically the only place I go for VT news, it's what keeps me feeling engaged with my school.

As for the community, I do think the recent struggles have caused some polarization, but I feel like we can all do a better job about being a little less personal, a little more rational about our conversations when differing opinions occur.

Thank you Joe for all of your hard work. If you spend as much time working on TKP and I do reading it, it's definitely a 2nd full-time job for you.
At the end of the day, we have to remember that we are all Hokies. All of us want VT to win every game in every sport we compete in, but when we fall short, we have to remember that we are all still family, we are all members of Hokie Nation.
We would all be missing a part (sometimes a big part) of our lives if TKP goes away. I have yet to become fully dipped but I pledge right now that I will soon. Thanks again to everyone, Joe and the staff as well as all of the members. TKP makes Hokie sports more fun, whether we win or lose, but man do I love me some GIFtory! LET'S GO!!

I don't know what a Hokie is, but God is one of them!

Based on the time stamp of the tweet, an email that I sent Joe might have been what broke the camel's back and caused Joe to post what he did. I LOVE TKP and I don't go anywhere else for my Hokie news, however I've seen some inconsistent moderation and so I asked why. As a customer of TKP, I felt like it was appropriate to ask about the inconsistencies, but perhaps my email was perceived as not being appreciative of TKP. I love TKP and was simply asking why things seems to be moderated differently. Joe - I sincerely apologize if my email came across wrong. Even thought I don't understand the response, I will continue to be a TKPC member and advocate of the site.

Go Hokies and I'm sorry if my email sounded like I was being an asshole.

You aren't the only one who has noticed and been bothered by inconsistent moderation. My husband let his TKPC membership expire because of his frustrations in regard to moderation. He has two other friends who are very active users who agree. None of them will comment because they dont want to loose standings here... I've never commented before today and will probably never comment after so I dont care but they all love that I'm bringing it up and directed me to your post to help bring more eyes to it.

I'd be a far worse fisherman if it wasn't for this Virginia tech sports blog and not to mention the good folks I've met outside of the interwebs as well, thank you TKP staff for creating a place for so many to share insight even if it has nothing to do with sports. That all said the content on here has helped me develop a much better understanding of the sports covered here and made being a fan more enjoyable even on the gloomier days .

My yearly TKP budget is higher than:
1) my clothing budget
2) my video game budget
3) my music budget
4) my movie budget
5) my dating budget (dates with wife)
6) HBO budget
7) Gasoline budget
8) Monthly eating out budget

Really it only falls behind food, house, swimming, hulu, dogs, and cellphone. So this site ranks pretty high on what I spend money on.

I read through TKP every day as part of my morning/daily ritual at work and still do - was put on to the site by VT_Fencer and later joined as a TKP member not too long after. I've learned more about football thanks to French's knowledge and connect often with the articles posted by the staff. There is no other site like this. I will go further to say that from my own perspective that my money towards this site is a donation. I don't see this as a general transaction nor do i feel that Joe or staff owe me anything. My fee that i pay to be a member supports them for content they have provided and for content to come. I saw that this was a labor of love when i first started reading and through the general interaction from Joe and other staff. I appreciate all the hard work and time that has gone into this place.

But this site is great. Honestly, I originally found this place for the community (which, I must say, only gets better during the offseason when we let the angst of sports fall to the wayside for a few months), but have stayed for the absolute top notch content. I really hope we are able to get to 1k TKPC members in the near future, because I can't wait to see what kind of improvement might be made to an already excellent site with top notch staff cranking out the best content about Hokie sports anywhere on the web. If you're not a member, you really should be if you can afford it. Not because of what you're going to get for your money, but because of the time and work these guys put into this site. Their time isn't free, and when things are rough (lets be honest, the last few months of VT fandom have been rough), it cannot be enjoyable to crank out the content they do without getting paid for it.

Things that brought me to and keep me at TKP:

1. The mascot mock threads. I kinda miss those.
2. French made me look up what "El Guapo" meant. I've seen the movie now.
3. Work must be avoided at times, and this is a superior means of doing so.
4. I finally found people who make as much fun of LOLUVA as I do. And the term LOLUVA was created here.
5. This thread: (sorry some of BCO's pics don't show up anymore) https://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2010/september/8/where-have-you-been-...
6. French taught me how much I didn't understand when I played football. Stupid 17 year old me.
8. Frank Beamer dancing gifs.
9. Six pick threads taught me I have no business gambling.
10. Simply the best, most readable, user-friendly VT site (or pretty much any other fan-site) on the net.

Where else do you get content like this?

I've been reading through this thread and trying to "write good" what this site means to me, and I can't.

(So here comes a stream of thoughts)
I found this site just over 7 and a half years ago while living in Dayton Ohio soon after our first daughter was born. I was a full time firefighter with a new kid in a city where I knew no one outside my wife and the firehouse. Needless to say I didn't have a lot of time doing fun adult things. I didn't go to Tech hell I didn't make it past one year of any college out of high school before I jumped into the job field, then I bounced from VA to Ohio then around Ohio then SC now FL for 12 years none of those places with large Hokie numbers, this site was my only connection. It's what got me to join the Hokie Club from Ohio, it got my first mini plan and first game in Lane when anOSU came to town (since a random game in mid 90's where I just walked in) and then buying season tickets for 3 years straight now. This site let me learn about campus, Blacksburg and what do to when I came up, I found a place and people to tailgate with GRASS LOT!!.

I spend way to much time on here I know that, but I've found it's not easy to make friends in a new place when you don't work and have kids so this site has brought me friendships. I want to thank Joe and all the staff for giving us such an easy to use and awesome site.

We don't love dem Hoos.

I love TKP but the tone has definitely shifted.

The more informal approach of past years content/articles generated reaction commentary vs. debate commentary. With the recent content feeling more like traditional sports journalism - it shifts that dynamic and the expectations of the audience naturally rise. Much of the TKP's content are opinion pieces, and with that comes a lot of negativity and criticism. For paid full-time journalists - that's "part of the job" and you accept it and move on. For people running a site on the side with many competing priorities like TKP - it's just a pain in the ass. Given that, I get why it may not be fun, but that shift is not being driven solely by the TKP community and it's a two-way street.

For example, I love French's content and read/watch every time - but it feels like the expectation is that we should just say "great job" versus offer additional perspective/insight. Are we allowed to disagree? I honestly don't know.

If the site has become too much for Joe and others - let the users do the work. Scale back the content (and in-turn the time and effort) and if people want to keep TKP alive they'll have the opportunity.

Of course you can disagree! Just make a clear argument using supporting facts, and try to keep the snark to a minimum.

Twitter me

I know I can disagree - but is that the goal and expectation of Joe and others?

One man's snark is another man's bad interpretation. It's all pretty subjective.

I have always wanted TKP to be an online sports bar. Talk shop with follow Hokies. Have a respectful debate. But there has been less tolerance to see another person's point of view.

Pretty much a by product of growth online.

You succeeded!

That's not hyperbole - the reality is that success/failure are not permanent states and we are constantly shifting between the two. TKP has also been thrown into a shit-storm of controversial news by VT itself over the past couple years. Part of the tonal shift on here is directly correlated to the polarizing nature of the news that you have no control over.

Even in the late Beamer years - we could lose, then win a couple, Frank does a silly dance, and everyone was good. There is a different level of anxiety right now in the fan base (that I don't share) that TKP gets smacked with daily and VT isn't doing you any favors.

That's good perspective and I agree. It sucks and it's unfortunate that the polarized state of the fanbase has affected the level of discourse. It also hurts from a business perspective too — TKPC members who cancel their membership because of the state of the program and conversation around it. Because whether or not the Hokies are winning or losing, it takes the same amount of resources to run and produce TKP.

Just an idea, but one of my favorite things about TKP are the AMAs with former players or those connected to the program. It provides the internal insight many of us crave that the current administration doesn't provide as much. I don't know what it takes to get those lined up, but just a suggestion to change the tone and provide some positivity and levity.

You can't have a sports bar without having to bounce some assholes. Just saying.

If you play it, they will win.

I keep asking for beer and never get served. Yet I keep coming back. Must be for the articles :)

Disagree all you want. My opinion is what my eyes tell me. I don't have the benefit of the full picture (ie- the plan and what is taught in practice.) I share my perspective, nothing more.

Like Joe said, I am here because I like to talk. Honestly, sometimes I get irritated with the lack of comments, questions, and push back in the film reviews because 1) I want to talk about it- that is how I decompress after the game and 2) I worry nobody is reading until Joe assures me that people are.

Now, if someone is rude to me after I present my argument without actually bringing any empirical evidence available, I will say they have no evidence. I have argued with plenty of folks. To date, I don't think any have been ugly except for when a couple of obvious trolls were trying to troll.

I honestly think the average fan just doesn't have the superior schematic knowledge of the game in order to make an educated rebuttal against your analysis. A lot of folks at least have a cursory knowledge of what's going on, but when you get into such fine detail of gap fits, stance and technique, or route concepts, not many people are going to be able to talk in detail. I for one have learned a great deal from your in-depth analysis on VT's scheme just because you take the time to sit and watch a ton of film that myself and others don't or can't. I think the best part of the discussion with the reviews is sharing what else people saw during the game, compare to what conclusions you drew, and maybe ask your input on how personnel or scheme could be improved upon.

IT ME! French, I come to your film reviews in attempt to understand and be taught, not to disagree or offer a counterpoint argument; I'm not smart enough to do that (and you know it, too).

Without being a TKP Club Member, I can't comment on your film breakdown, and I have more pressing priorities than to donate to the TKP to keep it running. That said, I do enjoy your breakdown as it often confirm what I see on TV. Example: First VT offensive series against BC in the season opener, I was already complaining that I did not know what identity what VT was trying to establish. The following week and what I could read before the cutoff, I saw you noted the same sentiment, using the phrase, "Identity crisis," to describe VT's offense with Ryan Willis quarterbacking.

I read every word, even if I don't get to it for weeks. The best part of football is the scheming.

The biggest reason for my lack of commenting on the film reviews is I want a whiteboard to start drawing thing up and discussing them even further.

Loud wrong!

You've always been respectful despite my vociferous objections to your absurdly flawed opinions of cheese, and I appreciate that.

I agree. I just can't wrap my head around the conversation between our ancestors; "hey, smell that rancid spoiled milk! I think we should put it on a hamburger."

Always complaining about spoiled things. Smh.

The best things my ancestors ever concocted came from "spoiled" grains.

I love TKP, thank you for all you guys do

My top 3 favorite things
T1. Primus
T1. TooL
2. TKP

Say that Progressive Metal Genre is pretty good. APrimusHokie probably 😂

I've been on TKP for a long time, longer than my current username was active. In that time Joe, French and staff have given me an opportunity to reconnect to VT and get to know the Hokies more than ever. Also afforded me a community to push my poorly made gifs, bad puns and get into meaningless online debates. I know it's hard to manage with your family and work but I do appreciate it.

That being said the fan polarity is getting pretty bad these last two seasons and I think Joe would benefit from having a moderator back to police the chatter now that Guitarman has been lost to the real world.

Yeah, sometimes it just helps to drop the ban hammer. Even if it's a temporary one. A place I used to frequent had a place for the temporary banees to post. But they couldn't post in the general forums. Call it a penalty box.

If we ban the overly negative, we have to ban the overly positive too in fairness to moderation. The only acceptable opinion will be "VT football is just ok I guess."

Edit: sorry, my comment was completely tongue-in-cheek for those offended. Should've put the /s. Just thought it was funny that we are talking about ways to make the site better and banning people comes up.

have a leg. i got the joke. shouldn't get downvoted for it.

Sans the almighty banhammer the current state of TKP would benefit from a Moderator that could cool things down with a weighted downvote tool and I like the idea above about a penalty box. Maybe a Moderator could give a 12 hour penalty box on commenting if someone goes off the rails, after a few warnings of course.

Yeah, I feel bad that I'm not around more. I can't keep up with everything and for that, I'm sorry. This place did well on its own before I had the badge, but obviously with site growth, that's hard to maintain. I try to pop in if I can, but the demands of Assistant Professor life, plus a 9-month old kid and another on the way, unfortunately makes policing internet content a very low priority.

Be kind to one another. Joe, you're awesome and thanks for what you do. Despite my relative inactivity, I still read all the feature articles and most of the on-topic threads. Thanks for entrusting me with the power you have and I tried to wield it when I could/needed to.

hey congrats on the second one!

Thank you, kind sir. Stay safe over there in China.

Kidding. Congrats. Two is a good target for number of kids. I would never pick one of my three to send back, but it always seems like there's just one too many for life to work.

Congrats on the sex x2.

I first learned about TKP after reading a "foe"rensics of loluva that a friend shared on facebook. This has been my only source of info for everything VT athletics since.

For any of y'all who recently got fully dipped, I appreciate you and your bottle opener is in the mail.

Are you still sending stickers? The bottle opener is the tank of bottle openers and the only thing I have to worry about with it is losing it. My sticker, on the other hand, is completely unrecognizable now from when I initially joined TKPC. Was really hoping re-upping would mean a replacement.

If you play it, they will win.

I only send out the sticker and bottle opener when you initially join. I'll figure out a way to get more stickers to folks when I have more on-hand though.

So, I don't get another bottle opener either? Damn, Joe. What do you do with my money? /S

But seriously, you da man, Joe. And if you could drop one of those off on the way to South Beach so I can rep TKP instead of an orange blob...

I'm operating on about 3 hours of sleep courtesy of a migraine the recent cold front brought with it and I first read this as:

your boner is in the mail.

Is tax season over yet? Is it bedtime yet? I need less stress and more sleep. Nothing to see here.

What? Do you never role play as the mailman? I mean it's how you get to jokingly call your son the mailman's kid.

She may find that weird
