I'm honestly shocked...I thought that since the NCAA Tournament is such a huge money maker it would continue, but I guess it makes sense-with the avalanche of bad news coming in the last few days then it's prudent to do this. I had a reservation in Vegas for the first round, too. Just canceled it...oh well.

If I'm the XFL quarantine everybody for two weeks and then be the only live sports on TV.

How about this:
The Masters goes on as planned. Without fans. Just all the best golfers in the world on the most beautiful course in the world without the crowds. Golf is unique I think in that having the players out on the course might be a bit safer than other sports since they don't come in contact with each other. Travelling to get there would still be a risk but the play would be incredible.
Sounds like a blast.

Just watched the Irishman a few weeks ago. Absolute masterpiece. If you've got 3.5 hours to kill, highly recommend. A lot of good gangster movies on Netflix right now with that, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, Kill the Irishman, etc.
Agree completely. If I get forced to stay at home at any point, I will continue one of my already favorite pastimes of watching a tremendous amount of movies.

I like to think the NCAA will be $mart about this and take some money on the side from sports media outlets in exchange for refusing to cancel the tournament. Then promptly cancel a few days after selection Sunday in order to give all the sports outlets something to talk about and bracket predictions for the next week.
Side note: Joe Lunardi wins award for best job of the year. Only needed for a few weeks of the year and when your time finally comes, you get to go back to paid vacation.

This is way more upsetting to me than any of the professional leagues. Do you guys think the NCAA might have some kind of hardship waiver for seniors of these winter/spring sports that lose their final year?

Feel bad for Dayton. Small school with a once in a generation type of team that could legitimately contend for the title this year and will likely not get the chance.
Yeah I feel bad for the seniors. Schools like Rutgers, Dayton, FSU all having all time great seasons for their schools, and don't get a chance to make a run. Obviously public health takes a huge priority, but I still feel for those kids.
