Man, I'm so bummed about this. I loved that show. I think I even liked the Build Team crew (Kari, Tori, and Grant) better than Adam and Jamie.

It is, you see time travel has been invented and some one came back to stop the Australian wildfires. Well that backfired and lead to Covid. Since then there have been so many attempts that it's really fractured every thing. You remember the murder Hornets? Those were an easy fix after the fact, but they were just the result of an attempt to stop covid. Another attempt resulted in those dust hurricanes. Just wait until we see what happens because the future solved the dust hurricane. I mean really we arent that far from sharknado at this point.
If we re-did 2020, we'd lose Kari too.

Enjoyed the White Rabbit Project with the Build Team. The chemistry, wits, and banter were what made them enjoyable to watch as they tackle engineering and physics challenge to test myth and legends.
I liked Jamie over Adam because Adam was annoying as hell even though both men were just as intelligent as the young'un.
Damn you 2020 stop taking the good people from this world.
Grant built Geoff from the Craig Ferguson Late Show. Fucking legend. So sad to hear this.
Whaaaat?! I had no idea. That doesn't help the sting.
As an aside, its a crime that Craig Ferguson is no longer on late night. I remember when Grant brought Geoff out during his interview, and he was a perfect sidekick throughout. Sad that he passed away, as Mythbusters helped make STEM cool when it was on. His legacy will live on for a long time.

agreed and its really not close. I really loved his style of interviewing celebrities where there was no canned questions and they just had a chat. Loved the symbolism of ripping apart the question cards as the celebrity came on for that reason.
Oh my goodness. That sucks. Was one of our favorite shows ever. Always remember our daughter - in that 'kids say the darnedest things' moment asking my wife: 'mom, when you die will I get your MythBusters DVDs?'
Our favorite episodes:
(1) Ways to combat month burn from hot peppers. Loved Grant's reaction the first time.
(2) Ways to sober up. Adam's face plant on the treadmill was the highlight and not anything from Grant, but still one of our favorites
(3) Blowing up the cement truck (the first time)

This stinks. I remember watching Mythbusters every week when we first got married. It was the best.
Great show, sucks that it ended so early but apparently Jamie and Adam just could not stand each other anymore towards the end.
Jamie couldn't stand Adam.
I mean, the two had practically opposite personalities. It didn't help that Adam got a bit more eccentric over the years. I re-watched a bunch of episodes a year or so ago and you can definitely see the tension grow over the years. Even so, they always said they weren't really friends, just business partners.
Yeah, Jamie is a more no-nonsense and like to test thing thoroughly whereas Adam did things by the seat of his pants. Also, Jamie hated being on camera while Adam liked the camera. You could see it in their performance. Never forgot that one Christmas episode, it was clear that Jamie was offended by the gift of trimmer from Adam while his gift to Adam was thoughtful.
Wow, this is terrible news. I loved Mythbusters and usually watch it if I come across it on TV now.
Adam is putting out lots of content on his youtube channel now for those of you interested. I particularly enjoy his One Day Builds.

The world is a little less bright today.
I've been watching and re-watching Mythbusters for years, even after it ended. My in-laws know the safest birthday/Christmas present for me is another season on DVD. Grant was always so entertaining, so creative, and so inspiring. With all the crap in the world today, I know I can always put on an episode and thanks to Grant and the crew, for the length of an episode at least, everything in the world is okay.

Grant and the rest of the Mythbusters crew definitely steered me toward being more interested in STEM and getting an engineering degree. I remember watching Mythbusters as much as possible growing up. RIP.
FYI Hulu now has every episode of Mythbusters on it, popped up in my feed today...
