Hokie Golfer wins VA State Open, sets record

Mark Lawrence, who graduated in May, won the Virginia State Open at Ballyhack in Roanoke. Winning by 7 shots with a new tournament low of 200, he redeems himself after losing in a playoff last year.

Didn't Lawrence get pretty far in the US Amatuer a few years ago? I wonder if he can make a run at the PGA tour.
