To be fair, Cardale didn't play last year... so... hearing from him then would've been quite surprising.

Eating my words on Miller. Really didn't think he'd look as good/acclimate to the new position as he did that quickly. Total X-factor today.

Just throwing it out there, more as an alternative to burning Lawson's redshirt.

Haha, yeah, I'm sure dozens of us are operatically trained

Yeah, the end's sort of tough to keep up with, since they sing it all simultaneously. I thought about cutting some parts and really only leaving in the parts that sit out in front... But I didn't

Haha, yeah. It's my wife's favorite, so I'm pretty familiar.

Looking at he and Feldman's picks... It's like a designed point/counter point, instead of actual prognostics/picks. If you want to hear something, you can find one who agrees with you. Pretty cynical.

I kinda interpreted this to be a "I don't want to tip my hand" type ploy by Ryan. He probably already know who starts, but wants to make whoever their first opponent is (Indy, I think?) plan for both. Similarly, he doesn't want to play both and risk muddying the waters about who should be starting any further. He knows, the team likely knows, and they are playing the cards close to the vest. My $.02, anyway.

Crap like this is why it's so hard to repeat - even loaded teams can get hammered by bad luck like this. Really feel for the kid and hope he gets a speedy recovery. Terrible luck, and much sympathy.

Aerospace Engineer working for the Navy. You know, just protecting you all from death-by-nuclear-fire.

I don't know about that. I always thought Barrett was better suited to beating a D like ours - a little quicker, perhaps more accurate on the shorter routes...
Our dbs in man always makes the mobile qbs so much more dangerous, especially the quicker ones who can cover a fair amount of ground before the dbs even realize they're on the move. They're also a more of a threat to house a run once they slip through a hole or something. I'm not sure Cardale is as much of a threat in that regard - seems more like Roethlisburger-esch impossible to tackle behemoth.
And the long-developing deep-ball advantage that Cardale has over Barrett (I hope) will be neutralized by our pass rush. I'd love to hear an OSU guy weigh in on these assumptions, but those are mine. If I'm Meyer, I go Barrett, 100%

I'd love to see us find a way to get him onto the field. I guess it depends on how well Brewer is doing, honestly. If he's kicking ass and taking names, you're not going to want to pull him out ever. If the offense continues to be "meh," I'd say another wrinkle couldn't hurt.
