We draft after the regular draft, and then make roster cuts after preseason. In ours, at least. I can't speak to how other ones do it.

Hang on - isn't it being kept under wraps because Reavis hasn't authorized them to release that information? How is that a suggestion that they're being unfair to him?

This sounds like FSU fans clinging to straws in hopes that a star player comes back to me.

I guess I'm just saying that I can understand that busts happen, and mistakes get made on the field. Especially when you're learning a new offense.

But for coaches not to make adjustments to what someone else is doing in game to take advantage of your tendencies is mind-blowing to me. I just can't fathom how that can be allowed to happen. Even the Wake lb seems shocked we didn't adjust.

This is what I was thinking as I read this too - it seemed to be more an indictment of the coaching than of the players. If WF figured it out and kept doing the same thing all game and we made NO adjustments... I can't believe FBS athletes from any school are incapable of handling whatever adjustment would be needed to fix the issue.

Ugh.

They also lost a ton of talent from what was the strength of their team last year (their D), and they lost their offensive coordinator. I really don't understand the Clemson hype this year. I guess everyone just figures FSU lost too much, so someone from the Atlantic must fill that vacuum

You've got a couple of years on me, and I also assume we're strictly going by collegiate production, right?

Quarterback - Andrew Luck
Running Back - Reggie Bush
Running Back - Todd Gurley
Wide Receiver - Amari Cooper
Wide Receiver - Calvin Johnson
Tight End - Bucky? Gronk?
OLine - I'm not knowledgeable enough about this position to rate each individual, so I'll just collectively say Bama's in 2008 was pretty awesome

Defensive End - Glenn Dorsey
Defensive Tackle - Ndamukong Suh
Defensive Tackle - Terrance Cody?
Defensive End - Chris Long? He was the only reason that Wahoo team was decent
Outside Linebacker - James Laurinaitis
Middle Linebacker - Luke Kuechly
Outside Linebacker - Rey Maualuga

Corner - Kyle Fuller
Free Safety - Tyrann Mathieu
Strong Safety - Eric Berry
Corner - Patrick Peterson

We were ahead because our 2nd loss was to the #2 team in the nation at the last second, whereas they lost to maybe-ranked Arkansas, and somebody else... Kentucky? I forget. Point was, emphasis was still on who had the "best losses"

No, we were 3 at the end of the season, after we beat BC to redeem ourselves after the Matt Ryan debacle. Pollsters jumped LSU over us for 2 because of the head-to-head

I think there was some serious staff turn-over after that. At least that's what I heard. Don't go there myself, either.

"In the interest of public safety, we have taken extraordinary measures to keep our players out of bars."
- Jimbo Fisher, probably

I think this is more about how he's done the same thing another Seminole just got kicked off the team for, immediately after Jameis 'Walking Violation' Winston left campus. If he was the only FSU athlete to have gotten in trouble recently, my response would be 'Sounds like an asshole. Whatever.' But when you've got 3 guys... it's a trend.

Wow. How dumb can you be? I mean.... Wow.

Here's a quote from ESPN:

"They kept telling me they were football players," the woman said. "They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years."

What about 2010? Tyrod's senior season. We had the absolute worst start to a season. Maybe ever (I mean, first Boise, and then the JMU debacle... ugh). Left for dead. Then we rallied to run unbeaten through the ACC. David Wilson was electric. Kick returns. Jayron pick-sixes all day. Tyrod being Tyrod-ey. It was a high-octane VT offense with speed all over the field. Shame it ended like it did in the Orange Bowl, but the ride was certainly a lot of fun.

Did he know she was a minor? Remember, he's only 18 - it's not like he's a 30 year old cruising around a middle school. Again, not saying I'm pro sex-with-minors. Just that there can be mitigating circumstances, and being one who doesn't know exactly how it went down, I can only trust that the courts got it right.

Edit - I guess I'm just saying there are varying degrees of wrong-ness.
