Finebaum is the Jerry Springer of sports radio.
On the other end of the spectrum, Sirius XM does a program called College Football Playbook or some such generic nonsense, which is absolutely first rate. Jack Arute is the host, and I could listen to that man talk college ball for eight hours. Just the right blend of analysis and anecdote. He also detests Finebaum.
I call it, "The Stinescreen."
I'm starting to get the feeling that Ekanem is going to play out of his mind for his whole career.
So will those dogs.

Agree re: Brewer revising expectations for himself at VT vs the Big XII-II=X. However, at times on Saturday Brewer looked crippled by indecision, obviously not wanting to throw a pick. It's good that he's wanting to avoid unnecessarily risky passes, it's bad that he's taking sacks because of it.
Michael is learning a new way to play football. During that learning process I think Lefty should make sure that Brewer always has a check down in the flat he can dump it off to so he isn't trying to hold the ball for five or six seconds before throwing.
Sweet Jesus this thread reads like Tech Sideline. I expect a better breed of football fan from TKP.
The offense stalled in the third quarter. This is not cause for panic or concern. There will be stretches in most football games where an offense is failing to execute for various reasons. In that situation, the OC has two choices:
1) Try to force it.
2) Play TOP and field position and live to fight another day.
If we've learned one thing about this year's offense, it's that we can expect turnovers if we try to force it. Up three scores and with a defense playing lights out, Lefty made the right call and chose number two.
Then in the forth quarter, after UNC had made it a two possession game, Brewer and Co. turned in one of their best drives of the season. They bled half the time remaining off the clock and scored points to make it a three possession game again. This is what has been missing on the offense, the ability to respond and contribute. As a unit, not just as a game changing QB that takes the entire offense, coordinator and all, on his shoulders a la Mike Vick or Tyrod Taylor. So far we've see this offense respond in earnest against Ohio State, ECU and now UNC.
Our offense is becoming something that I have personally never, ever seen it be: clutch. And I'm really enjoying watching it happen.
No. What makes it better to me is that slowly but surely our offense is beginning to resemble something other than a dog trying to fuck a watermelon.
Kendall might be the Fullerest Fuller that ever Fullered.
This must be the "I got dressed in the dark" effect game.
It was his one egregiously bad decision today.
The upside to that is that it was his ONE egregiously bad decision today.
Baby steps.
This will probably be the last time we face a team coached by him, so it's all good.
It wasn't just Bud. (Though it was a LOT Bud.) But the offense freaking decimated UNC on time of possession. It was not always firing on all cylinders, but that seven minute field goal drive in the fourth quarter was the second best drive of the season behind the winning drive in the Horseshoe.
Lefty's offense, when he gets it fully implemented and using his players, will be the perfect complement to the Lunch Pail.
I always like an aggressive pass after a turnover, catch the D on their heels.
But of course JCC proves me wrong.
Fade to Hodges and seal this fucking thing now.
Let's bleed this thing down.
That was a SEVEN MINUTE drive. Holy crap that was huge, even if we didn't get in the end zone. Took half the clock and made it a three possession game. Huge possession after the pick by Brewer. Well done.
And Phillips just broke his ass
You have got to be shitting me.
Edmonds has a wobble to his run that I'm not liking the look of.
Holy moly what a punt. Good lord.
Kendall Fuller is a class act.
Is it just me or does Brewer look timid as hell today? Overcorrection to the picks thus far? Afraid to let it go?
IMO, the introduction of the two Mexican hitmen was weirder. It was the only time in the series I was like, what the hell am I seeing here?
Okay, that settles it. Next TKP tshirt must be "THOU SHALT RUN THE DAMN BALL" in large block print, orange on maroon.
Make it so.

They Murder-Death-Killed the competition.
