Yes. Let's all divorce your wife.
Sad, sad state of affairs. Feel bad for the players. So many questions for the coaches. Worried about the program.
Life goes on. Headed to the gym. Catch you mofos after I vent my frustrations in the weight room.
Go Hokies.
I have only one word.
Unregoddambediculous.
It isn't even a word. But that's how I feel right now.
I did it up with pancakes, which was great, but served over biscuits with some sawmill gravy would be otherworldly.
STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS EDIT: Oh good god if you caught the drippings from this thing in a pan in the smoker and used those to make the gravy...
Everything's better with bacon.
Made one of those for Christmas breakfast couple years ago. My own recipe tho. Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, crispy hash browns, bacon, and a half dozen scrambled eggs. Smoked with hickory for three hours and brushed with maple syrup 20 minutes before pulling. Absolutely amazing.

On the little graveyard thing that Souvlaki's did (still does?) in the front window every season, the GT game that year had a little raincoat laid over the grave with a note that said, "Play the damn game!"
That makes this one of the greatest posts I've ever read. (The sarcasm, not the bitterness.)
Upleg.
And I wasn't trying to be a dick, BTW. I attended a few home games I have zero recollection of, in that exact time span as luck would have it. Honestly thought you might have had your games confused.
That game was canceled due to weather and never played.
You've just described what happens to every fan base once a program becomes established at a high level for long enough to have a sizable age gap between alumni and the student body, all of whom are enthusiastic about the program but in different ways. Same complaints come from every big program, but especially southern programs where there's more of a prevailing purist attitude regarding football. And the VT fan base is very akin to an SEC fan base.
Whit is doing what he said he was going to do, and some of the alumni don't like it. But if it gets more butts in seats, look for it to continue. There is nothing special or unique about VT that makes it somehow immune to the considerations of how to bring bodies to the stadium. VT can no longer rely on the inherent enthusiasm of an ascendant program to draw a crowd, and there is an increasingly prevailing sentiment among more casual fans that VT football has grown a little stale over the last five or six years. Win on the field and you can play Flock of Seagulls over the PA for all I care. But if we can reengage the students with the program, I'm all for it. I'm on board either way.
Also, this is an internet forum. Complaints are mandatory.
Costco's label of bourbon is from Buffalo Trace. Pretty much all the big Kentucky distilleries will custom label blends on contract.
Seriously, why would you not do this?
The closer we get to this game, the worse I feel about it. I know Marshall's playing and Maddy is "probable," but it worries me we might be pressing them into duty because of the situation, which makes me worry about them both enduring serious injury from cut blocking. Thomas is a shiftier runner and seems better suited to CPJ's offense, and their receivers look a hell of a lot like the ECU receivers who used size advantage to come down with every jump ball hurled their way.
On paper, this isn't a good matchup.
And my concern is due in large part to the fact that I have been conditioned to believe that our offense isn't going to pull its weight in the matchup. Which is frustrating, because in my head I'm a Lefty believer but in my heart we're still in the dark ages.
Georgia Southern just joined the Sun Belt. They're FBS now.
I'll assume this is response to me up there ^^^
Could have sworn that was at a concert, not a spoken word thing. Then again, I was really drunk pretty much that entire year.
We shall call him...Frankencline.

I've been jonesing to see RVD at whip since I heard both Foster and French rave about him his freshman year. But I'm not so sure the right time to have him take the reins at the position for the first time is against Georgia Tech, where traditionally the whip has been the make or break position against GT. (Yes, I know technically the last couple of seasons it's been the nickel back, but nickel back and whip are basically interchangeable.) Then again, if Foster trusts him and he's finally 100% good to go full steam as whip, might be a nice wrinkle to throw at CPJ.
I remember the following spring semester there was a concert in Burrus. Maybe Method Man? Busta Rhymes? Anyway whoever it was between songs said something about the guy who dropped the two point conversion against Miami, and Ernest stood up and said, "Right here." And the dood proceeded to berate him for it. Really classless.
GT some points, VT more points.
Wouldn't have to wait. There are contract distillers who have product ready to go, just gotta ink the labeling and distribution agreement.
This is the right move, not only for the program but for Brandon. He will have a distinguished career at VT, and it's critical he's given a chance to let this injury heal correctly so as not to jeopardize that.
Get well soon and come back strong.
Or doesn't...
CPJ stocks his fallout shelter in case of nuke-u-lar war.
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Dr. Enuf, personally.

Belk Bowl? Let's be realistic. The streak might be in jeopardy.
This is not a sky is falling, fire everyone post. This is an acknowledgment that we do not have four gimme wins left on this schedule. If we lost at home to a bad Georgia Tech team then we can lose to anyone. Yeah, sure, we can beat anyone, too. And I really do believe that. But this might be the most schizophrenic team we've seen in twenty years.
Hold on, folks. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.
