My dad and I had talked about this every week of the season this year (since we're Bills fans and their LBs suck balls too.). Nobody form tackles anymore. Everyone wants the highlight hit, not realizing that by not wrapping up, they make the highlight, just on the wrong side of it

The reality is that we are a very bad team that doesn't have anything that will beat UVa this year. Running game would make it closer, but not a win.
That's just where we are after 10 years of Fuente and Pry

You assume too much, like our WRs know what a hot route is

Pop can handoff just as well as drones. And is a better improviser on shitty pass calls that breakdown. Would rather our QB scramble outside than constantly run into the line for half a yard.
I'm still so mad about that obvious PI not being called... No hold and thats a td, but the no call got us behind the sticks
My mom's cousin (who played football at Tech and is the reason I went there) was coaching at Maryland in the mid-2000s and one of those seasons Maryland played in Charlottesville. We took one of my best friends who had applied to both Tech and UVA, among other schools. UVA crushed Maryland and we heard their goddamn band play iron man for Chris Long and their godforsaken fight song so many times that my friend went home and pulled his application to UVA. I hated UVA from that day forward.
Side note: my first experience watching VT football was the Thursday night game that Darren Evans ran for 250 yards against that Maryland team. I was not happy that day. Pretty crazy that just a couple years later I would be cheering in the stands for Tech and Darren Evans lol
That would make so much sense.
Went to the game at Lane North in 2013. Got some cheap nosebleed seats with a couple buds. We thought we were at a football game, and so we were standing, being loud, and having fun.
This family of toothless Walmart fans who very obviously didn't have a single family member that had ever even applied to UVA kept relentlessly whining and/or yelling at us for our despicable behavior. We ignored them and they were so disgusted they left.
After the game, got to watch the kick six ending to the iron bowl in the car leaving the parking lot.
Damn over 14 years. 2011 is when I found this slice of Hokie heaven.
