He was the 9th best player from PA, the 18th best QB in the nation, and 247 gave him a 90 making him a 4-star. He also had offers from Nebrask, Iowa St, and Colorado (at varying times throughout his re/recruitment) Our 2014 class.
IIRC they also both had trouble staying healthy. Williams had moments where he looked like the heir to the Darren Evans mantle though, just a punishing runner between the tackles. Shame.

But when they were both healthy and unincarcerated, they were damn good
no disrespect to him or the comment, but was he really a 4-star QB? Surely he would have had some other offers if he was a legitimate 4-star prospect

The last time we had 2 x 4* RBs on the roster they were Marshawn Williams and Shai McKenzie, who, if I remember, were pretty damn good.
I think you misremember. Shai got suspended for matching with an underaged girl on tinder and Marshawn was not bad, but neither really materialized or came close to living up to their recruiting rating.

Well, it is cville, half of them don't know what it is and the other half think it's some sort of insult.
I always make it a point to call uva real estate their "campus.". That pisses them off more than anything. I'm quickly reminded that it is strictly "the grounds" and the term 'campus' refers to inferior schools. 🤮
