Kalshi and other sites are also just crowd-sourced betting markets right? So there's usually a correlation between those odds and what happens but not necessarily causation.

Also just gambling sense that the heavier of a favorite something becomes, there's not a lot of value in betting that, so you take a flyer on something with a high return.

So IDK what's going to happen, but that's just a general grain of salt I have with those sites.

Oh makes sense, videos are blocked on my work computer so mobile I could view it.

Two names I want to bring up outside the James Franklin conversation

Jake Dickert Wake Forest - He did a great job at Wazzu and is having a great season at Wake
Sean Lewis San Diego St. - currently 7-2 at SDSU, has an exciting offense, went 24-31 at Kent State 19-17 in conference. Since he left Kent State is 1-23

a SNL skit where they sang "Chicken Pot, chicken pot chicken pot pie".

It was actually from an episode of the sitcom "Just Shoot Me' in 2000 which did star David Spade- an SNL alum.

The "chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot pie" meme originates from a 2000 episode of the TV show Just Shoot Me!, where comedian David Cross, playing the character Donnie, sang the phrase repeatedly. The scene features Cross's character as a mentally slow employee who suddenly reveals his intelligence by singing the jingle in a distinct, sing-song voice, making it an instantly memorable and often-quoted moment.

Also used as part of stand up comedy show with Jim Gaffigan (in one of his sotto voce parenthetical comments)

I think they are honestly striking out on most of their top candidates...it's hard to say where they might land. Some smoke that they tried to go after Cignetti but that was shut down quickly, Rhule was extended by Nebraska, Brohm also extended. Elko I don't think is realistic. Chesney could be in play but I think he would be down the board quite a bit from where they started.

Chesney to me is a long-term build option. I don't think he's going to generate anywhere near the same splash or buzz as far as recruiting/donor interest, but he is a very good coach I think. Will be interesting to watch wherever he does ultimately land up.

The name Pie came from a SNL skit where they sang "Chicken Pot, chicken pot chicken pot pie". Our dog at the time was a mix of beagle and something and named Peach. Started with Peachie pot, Peachie pot pie, and morphed into Pie. Dog now, not our usual rescue, is a Jug dog. Jack Russell daddy, pug momma, 10-1/2 lbs of cute, with the mitigating of the traits of each. She is named Pie in honor of the original.
Sorry not pics, but I can't do that stuff. lucky I can post at all.

I think it's fairly safe to assume from rumors and rumblings that Chesney is the next in line if Franklin falls through. But from the sound of things, looks like Franklin is pretty close to being finalized.

My ex and I used to have a dog(that our labs brought home with them one day). We called him 'My dog Spot' which morphed into 'Spy Dog Mot' which eventually morphed to 'Pie Pie" til he passed 15 years later. (side note - he was a wirehaired mutt-weighed about45 lbs but damn he could run like the wind; we paced him down the country road we lived on at over 40mph!)

That was a cool tidbit about how Neo's dad played a game at Cassell when he played in college.

Not sure if this was shared somewhere else, but here is a 20 min interview with Neo. Starts at about the 7-min mark. First 7 mins talk about ACC basketball, mostly the UNC and VT weekend game results as good outcomes for the ACC.

He reveals he has never seen the Matrix. He likes Luka's game and takes some of his best moves, but plays his own style. Overall, interesting interview and longest I've seen of Neo yet, but the hosts are meh.

Materials for the BOV meeting have been posted on bov.vt.edu so everyone can see the agenda. There is a closed session lunch meeting of the executive committee regarding a "personnel matter" that probably has everyone buzzing. From what I hear, I would highly doubt it's related to football in any way. I've been wrong before, but I don't think that's the topic.

Embezzlement it is then. Also it's Baylor title IX are fine as long as a firm with the initials PH doesn't get involved. Heck, they'll help cover up a murder so really it has to be stealing money from rich people, that's what gets you in trouble when other horrendous crimes don't.
