In garbage time in game one she had to be helped off the court limping a bit. Shouldn't have still been in. Not sure if that's the issue.
We are shooting better from 3 (25) than from the field (23.8%). If we clean up the shooting, we run away from the greyhounds.

Mentioning breakfast reminded me of another Owens experience. I forget the exact reason or which year it happend, but my Dad had come to Blacksburg, I think to bring me home (maybe at Thanksgiving?) because my car was in the shop. It was early, so he said he'd go to the dining hall with me for breakfast. My dad loved eggs, so that's what he got. Said he thought he was through with powdered eggs after the Army.

I was at that game. Cassell was really rockin' and the final point totals were impressive for both teams.
Edit: The game was in Feb '88, and the final score was 141-133. Still a record for Cassell and maybe all time for VT as well. I had to look it up for the final score, but will never forget Bimbo's 51 and I believe it was one of the highest point total for any college team. My memory says the second highest, at that time of course, but my memory is to be taken with a grain of salt or a trip to google. Anyway, I couldn't speak for a day and was hoarse for two or three days.
