Nope - neither of them understood fundraising. Penn State has fans that will raise their own money to fix financial problems. Fuente never worked anywhere that needed to really do that. And Fuente isn't a salesman, which you kinda need to be to fundraise, or at least be personable enough with donors that the fundraising guys can be making the pitch.

They need to jettison Seifkes immediately. His defense has been terrible. Arguably, Seifkes got Pry fired in week 3 rather than December. Maybe let JC take over as DC.
J.C. has been the only coach worth his salt here.
But whoever the Interim H.C. is going to take a beating the rest of the year...sparing J.C. that "honor" might actually be a favor.
Montgomery has more expierence as HC and has been HC and OC before. I think in a 1 game situation its JC, but we have 9 more games.
Im not sold on anyone right now, Nick Saban could walk through the door and I will believe he can win here once he does. We have so many issues that no one person can solve.
I'm hearing Montgomery will be interim head coach, which is interesting because I figured it'd be JC.
