played a lot of point; very left handed (defensively I'd overplay him); decent passer; goes hell for leather to the basket, especially on the left side
HC for Illinois, in case anyone else (like me) has no idea who he is.
Who cares what Mr. Delander thinks โ if you go through the thread and read the actual job description, it's pretty clear that VT knows what they're hiring for.

3* DE Alex Johnson - Catawba Ridge (SC)
6'4 230 has an OV scheduled with VT
Offers from GT, Georgia, Duke, Louisville, and others. He's also set to OV with BC, Vanderbilt, and Michigan.
It's a bubble, AND it's here forever.
As someone who works in Tech, it's completely changed how we do everything. It's making everyone more productive. It's also shifting bottleneck to other places.
Our engineering team is spending about $150K per year on tokens. The ROI is 1000% there. I think at 5X the cost the ROI becomes a little bit more debatable, but still positive. And at 10X the cost, it's no longer there.
We will hit a bubble in the next 1 to 3 years, a bunch of companies will go out of business, but that will spur innovation, which will make things cheaper, and in about a decade will have better, models, cheaper, energy, etc.
I'm in the same boat. I get maybe 1 or 2 spam calls a MONTH.
At the very least maybe it can make more sensible decisions about when to send out donation requests and hold emails to not go out after getting mollywhopped by Duke or ODU
LinkedIn user engagement was drying up pretty quickly so they implemented a lot of the same Facebook feed features that are toxic but drive engagement: suggested posts, showing posts your connections comment or interact with, rewarding engagement over content, oh and bots...lots of bots. It all just creates a continuous trudge of controversy that people keep feeding
And of course, I've never heard of starcraft game. I'll have to ask Betty Lou Thelma Liz or one of the desperados waitin' for the train...
Didn't they change names? Or is that not in effect yet?
Oh completely unbelievable. Its insane that they xfer portal and paying players have made coaches MORE valuable not less. When interviewing you have to ask who a coach is bringing with them. And why Indiana is an outlier, i think we are going to see less dominance in college football as teams can't hoard talent. 20 years ago 3-4 teams had a shot any year, now a single injury could derail a championship run cause if lack of depth ethic opens up to 5-8 teams that could win it any given year. We will never see a Miller-Barrett-Jones QB room again.
I wouldn't worry too much... 18 of the top 50 players are uncommitted. 8 of the VA top 15, 7 of the MD top 15, and 8 of the NC top 15 are uncommitted. Kentucky has the 10th best class with just two 4-stars and eleven 3-stars.
I'm not exactly a recruitnik, but it's obvious that classes aren't shaping up in the same way the did in 2018. Kids are keeping recruitments open longer. Coaches aren't seeking commitments as early.
I'm not suggesting that we're all of a sudden going to nab a few of those 50 guys. Just saying that there is plenty of time to land guys who haven't announced, and flip guys who have announced.
In Franklin we trust (whether we like it or not)
Well Wahoos solved it to win 2-1
I met Brad Underwood today and asked him to schedule VT. He said "No, your coach is too good I don't want to play him. And he's a friend of mine."
Weather on Saturday and Sunday are looking mostly clear. Also I rather them play the home games than have a weekend off to get cold. Win these two games. Cancel Marshall. Beat Clemson twice

Cancel that too, 179th in RPI.
Just saw that Virginia Wesleyan is only undefeated D3 team. 43-0 on the season.
Well. Cancel the Marshall game. We already know they can beat us.
So, do we pick him up next year when he transfers?
I hear you but playing two games against the 140th RPI team who is 20-28 only hurts you this late in the season win or lose. It will cancel out the Liberty win even if we win both.
Pitt is shutting down uva. Pitt scares me. Mostly because of what they did last season
Only three, tied with Louisville and Stanford. Duke had 2, Hokies 2, UNC 1, UVA 1.
2nd team Hokies 5, FSU 3, Duke, Stanford, GT, Notre Dame, UNC, and NC State each had 1.
3rd team Duke 4, FSU 2, Louisville 2, Clemson 2, UVA 2, Cal, Notre Dame and Stanford with 1.
Because I need to poop during my starcraft game?

Where are your bottlenecks shifting to?
