That's only partly true and many top golfers come from europe and scandinavia- they don't mind the "cold"
This- hire OK states coach and be done with it. We will win a natty in mens golf evenetually
OK st does have in the alum listing:
Rickie Fowler, Viktor Hovland, Matt Wolff, Charles Howell II, Talor Gooch, Bob Tway, Hunter Mahan, Scott Verplank, to name a few from the school that has produced the most PGA players, in general.

Would be pissing money away. Even if we had the best training facilities in the country, we would still struggle to pull in good talent, because of the weather in Blacksburg. The best players are going to go to schools where the weather is nice year round.
And that was a direct quote to me from a high school coach of one of the best development programs in the country.
Bring Johnson Wagner in. He has connections and has to be able to recruit!
