It definitely happened, but leasing a car is not the same as paying a guy $100k+ a year, so NIL has increased the costs.

We ABSOLUTELY should go the SEC route and claim a Natty for that season.
We did lose to Boise and JMU and then swept the ACC pretty recently. Or if you go the other direction, you can just bring up every year we lose to Syracuse yet win other games.
Unrestricted budgets in this case mean no strings tied to their funding, whether that be state, federal or donor requirements.
Yeah, I will tweak my grip on occasion especially if I need to hit a fade...
Wound up just changing my posture a bit; I was too upright on the shorter clubs. Feels good and I don't have to change or remember anything else. So now the irons are somewhere between straight and a little push draw and I get a little higher ball flight to boot.

# | Whit: "If VT doesn't radically leap forward now, our fate is likely sealed for generations to come" If this works and overnight we start funding to the point where we need to be and we start actually acting like the bigger university that we have become, then it is a career defining moment for Whit and the current Admin.
I want to see it before I believe it, but if we get to the point where we actually start funding our programs to the level that we expect them to perform, we cannot overstate how impactful a meeting this was.

Rector John Rocovich has directed members Ryan McCarthy and J Pearson to craft "a firm proposal" regarding future athletics funding by no later than Sept. 30
and
More Sands: "I feel good about our progress over the last year, but there's more to do to insure that athletics is thriving into the next decade."
Next BOV meeting is in mid-November.
