As Brockman stated Airalo is a very easy app for downloading and utilizing eSIMs, I've used it on multiple international trips myself. I just checked and it appears they offer both data and data/calls/texts for Cayman Islands. I've only ever used data eSIMs, simply meant I couldn't call people on the phone (except via FaceTime or on wifi).

Interesting perspective. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for reading/listening!

I suppose you want talent AND continuity, or at least some depth.

Godfrey/Flemming's argument is that no one has both continuity AND depth any more due to the portal. Pre-2020, OL would sit for 3 years, and teams could develop continuity while developing players. Now, the portal has allowed OL talent to be more evenly dispersed across teams (aka players leave as soon as they are good enough to start anywhere).

So either you can rotate 6-8 players (like OSU or ND), or you have 4-5 guys who can play then a big drop off (like VT, Michigan State, Oklahoma or virtually any non-playoff program).

This wasn't explicitly mentioned in the pod, but 10+ years ago, it was pretty common to have a first string line and a second string line - the idea being that you didn't want to swap out individuals because the line was always treated as a unit. This is what the pod meant when they called offensive line a 'weak link position'.

That is no longer case: Now - due to (a) fluid rosters and (b) simplified schemes created/deployed in response to fluid rosters - you're seeing coaches play the best 5 individuals instead of the best 5-person unit.

Oh, fuck yeah!

We dove into this technology for our recent trip to Costa Rica. Works just like swapping out SIM cards. We loaded the new SIM card a few days before the trip, then shifted over when we arrived.

Just follow the instructions (there are multiple steps). We used Airalo and my wife says they work great.

There's an app to download that makes the process easy (and tracks your usage as you go).

Getting put in 21 loss Alabama's bracket had to be the best case scenario. They have looked overrated all season. I guess we get to find out first hand.

Question peeps- we are going to Grand Cayman in two weeks and our phone plan (walmart family talk) doesn't have the option to enable International service. In the past we've gone and gotten a local Sim card for one of our phones to use for maps, searching stuff, etc. when we didn't have wifi while traveling around once we were in our destination. I see you can now get something called an 'eSIM card' download (my wife's android phone is compatible). Does anyone have experience with these and how well/easy they work?

HOW BOUT THEM HOAGIES?!?

Hokies tried to lose to Mercer but eke out a run in the 8th to win 6-5

Yea I don't understand it. Maybe it's a negotiation tactic of some sort. But I don't think there's been a season in the last decade where the current SEC and B10 didn't have 4 teams each in the top 16.

VT should license these.

I'd buy one. It's pretty awesome, but the real concert ones are reselling for ridiculous amounts, and there are a lot of copycats that I feel sure are on subpar t-shirts that I'd never wear.

Anybody know how many tickets they actually sold for that concert? I've seen estimates from 65k, but it looks like the field tickets would have added to that.

My old place of employment 89-91

The female janitor at work asked me if I wanted to smoke weed with her.

I said no cause I can't handle high maintenance women.

My guess is Dedra finds out the real purpose behind Crennic's Ghorman operation, realizes everything she's believed, and Syril's death, was all for a lie. So she confides in Loni, whom she's been suspicious of all along, this gets to Luthen, and then to Cassian just in time for Rogue One.

She's not in Rouge One so they had to explain it somehow. Most people online expected her to die because of this. I think it's good that they didn't fridge her to move Cassian forward.

"He's already been radicalized???"

But he specifically told her that he was done. He wanted to just run off and be with her and wash his hands of the whole thing. She knew that he would never fully commit to the rebellion with that option on the table.

It's not even that it's out of character for Bix... why does Andor need Bix to disappear to buy in to joining the rebellion? He's already been radicalized???

What do we think the grand finale will be about? It feels like it's time for the Death Star to become the center of the plot, but it's hard to imagine how Gilbert ties up all these rich characters.

RIP Syril. I am so taken with his character...completely different from any other SW universe persona. I still cannot get what the show was doing with him; utter plot chaos! I wish this show had more seasons to tease him out more. Completely stunned when he died.
