Headed to Scottsdale Thursday. Playing Troon North Monument and Grayhawk Raptor. This will be my second time playing desert golf. Lot of 3W and 2iron off the tee to keep it in play. Fly from Scottsdale to Omaha for work Sunday and will play at the dormie course Arbor Links in Nebraska for two days. Its golf season!

Finally got out twice last week. WooHoo! I replaced my old 4 hybrid with a Ping G430. It's perfect in the bag. It's still April, and I have to remind myself of that frequently, but last Tuesday put up a 73 from the shorty tees. (Was playing with my son that just got into the game, so we played at 5500.) Even so, was nice to see a solid score on the card. Played Saturday from the tips, and just couldn't get it going on the par 5's. Sad trombone. 5 over on the 4 holes led to an 81 from the back tees (6450ish) Happy to be out regularly again. Here's to a good season.

As far as the Reds go, if Konate stays, they will be ok. They can find another defender to serve the ball forward, and get MacAllister involved a tad more in the plays.
Always really interesting to see what happens when a new coach stops having the old coach's guys and starts getting more of his guys. The Beamer/Fuente situation is a cautionary tale against overreacting, of course, but it seems like Slot is a great fit for the club. I imagine the fan base is pretty ecstatic with him, right? Contrasting to the ManU and Tottenham situations (roster issues aside) it's pretty wild to see what the right guy in the big chair can do.

Ryan Williams literally pulled a NC State defender for 10 yards along the ground, scoring a touchdown.
I feel decent about Conor Bradley, though he did have a pretty bad outing in the last start I saw. He was great against Madrid. He's got the potential to be a pretty solid RB but he's not going to be the creative force Trent is. After a season of Slot-ball I feel pretty confident that he'll be able to adjust well to Trent not being there anymore, which I think is probably likely.
Wasn't Cyrus Lawrence the top choice of VT running back coach Billy Hite?

Ore is definitely my A-tier right behind the Williams, KJ, Suggs S-tier. I would put Herbert with Ore on that tier.
I struggle with Tuten and Wilsom the most. Tuten is probably an S-tier back, but we didn't use him that way and I sont think that's on him. Wilson was a playmaker but his running back skills were lower than the rest, he just made up for it with pure athletism.

Yeah, but this is a volunteer position for Shaq, and his kid is on the team. I don't think he's going to actually be a GM. Probably more akin too an outside consultant of some sort.
But I will say, as someone who was a fan of the NBA in the late 90s and early 2000, the idea of a college basketball team being led by Shaquille O'Neal and Mike Bibby is pretty fucking awesome
