And what we gonna do tomorrow? Baseball, softball or basketball?
Yep. Don't have the names, but an incredible throw from our right fielder to third had the tide announcers all a-twitter as they reviewed it and we won the review, and a really great diving catch by the left fielder to end the game stuck out to me.
Wikipedia only list DCs for a few years when Beamer started. I had to find Steve Marshall from Colorados website and he hasn't been there in a decade.
So turns out not ever, I missed Rickey Bustle leaving and coming back (I was like 10 when it happened). Frank hired Gary Tranquill who spent two years as OC at WVU, and 4 years at UVA before we hired him away from Bill Belicheck's staff in Cleveland. He was only at VT for a season leaving for the same position at Mich St. (his buddy Nick Saban got the HC job)
So for one year Rickey Butle left, we had a guy that had been at our two main rivals and had a lot of good expirence include HC at Navy when we hired him.
FAM!
I would definitely recommend Lake Como since you're close. As a side note, you didn't say where you were flying in to, but it costs a lot to rent a car in one country and return in a different one. We dropped a car off in Lugano and took the train into the next country to rent another car.
We did the south of France, then up through Chamonix and the Rhone Valley this past summer (with a quick side trip to catch T. Swift in Zurich - I know, I know). While I highly recommend the trip, it is way too much to do in a week from Lugano.
Personally, I would head west/north and maybe catch Chamonix (loved it there, but different season), Annecy (don't bother to stay here, but worth a stop for lunch), Beaune, and Dijon. There are nice wine trips out of each of those last two stops.
I would definitely drop the car when you get to Paris - you don't want to drive in the city free-for-all - and then take an Uber to the airport. For fun, go watch the traffic at Place Charles de Gaulle (Arc de Triomphe is in the middle). It's a multi-lane roundabout (like 5 or 6 lanes) with 12 spokes and no pavement striping.
We've stayed in a few different places in Paris and never found a bad location. We stayed in Le Marais last time and it worked well for what we wanted to see. Paris is a huge city, so keep in mind if you're planning to walk to the normal touristy stuff. The subway system is good or Uber for cutting down the distance between things.
If you're looking to do something romantic, fun, and a little risqué, get dressed up and hit up Moulin Rouge or Crazy Horse.
Have fun!
That's good news as outfield problems hurt them against LSU
Yea, I heard an interview where Fuente talked about Brad's play calling skills at Memphis (should've been a red flag lmao). Also, the other co-OC went to a job after Memphis where he wasn't allowed to call plays lol.
Missed the D1 part, good catch.
Your point still stands - Monty is far and away the most qualified OC VT has ever hired.
As someone who was around during the Dooley era, I'm not sure we had an offense beyond Cyrus Lawrence up the middle. It was pretty easy to coordinate.

Ahhh, I see. Must up my comprehension now that I have learned to read. But for sure, F those Puppy Farms.
Yeah but just 'cuz you can, doesn't mean you should
Yeah because it hasn't. He said that's what he thought it said. My reply was just saying if it really was 'F those Puppy Farms' then it would just be par for peak off-season TKP chatter; that's all.
I will also say, having attended MLB games in several cities over the last year or two, their ticketing app across all the teams is very good. And it's nothing to do with ticket master, which alone is a huge perk.
Watched the 'Bama game. Interesting calls and reviews. Couldn't myself determine the safe or outs that went our way, but the first one that went for 'bama, I got a damned good look at in real time and there is no doubt in my mind that our runner was safe on first base. Fortunately, they must have had better cameras for the reverse that gave us our first run. Game felt strange watching the one camera angle through the netting behind the plate. Lemley was absolutely fantastic, and a couple of sick plays from our outfield backed her up for the win.
This was sole OC because calling plays is important and I couldn't tell if they were the man if Co OC, Montgomery was Co-OC for like 4 more years at Baylor.
Northeastern State isn't division 1.
Been around a while myself and have no recollection of this.
Picking nits, but corny was co-OC and play caller for Memphis in 2015, and OC at Northeastern State from 2009-2011.
Regardless, your point stands.
Because F Puppy Farms (mills) is prime peak off-season TKP topic material. Pretty sure you're not new here. 😁
If that doesn't put things in perspective, I don't know what does.
