LET'S GO
Good news on Poteat after the game, Coach Young said it shouldn't be long term issue.
Not really, he just sort of faded away. He scored the first 7 points and then rarely asked for the ball inside so he wasn't getting touches that are ideal for scoring. His bucket in the second half was a give and go alleyoop from Rechsteiner, which I don't know why they don't scheme more.
I'm an architect and have worked with Construction Managers and Owners Project Managers for many years, and I'm just getting into the public bid realm where I'm much more involved on providing estimates to owners ahead of bid issuance. For our part, we are using rough order of magnitude costs per square foot, derived from active or recently completed projects, which we base approximately based on scope of work. Costs have been in such flux the last 2+ years, that this has been our only real method of getting anywhere close, and we're very fortunate to have so many projects to pull from as sources. That said, everyone is holding their breath to see what happens with the larger tariff/geopolitical scene... 🤷
Admittedly, this is from an Architect's' perspective, but I would echo what Harris13 said above about Bluebeam— I have a hard time imagining a quicker way of getting and managing takeoffs from a PDF set. I would also emphasize that some of Bluebeam's biggest advantages are in its ability to coordinate full drawing sets with multiple parties, even within the same office. I have used the features like Projects, Sessions, Sets, and the full functionality of the Markup list to drastically reduce the headaches associated with document revisions and questions—for one, it's reduced our inter-team project emails immensely. For takeoffs, you can create them in a combined PDF "Set", automatically update/slip sheet in revised versions of the same documents when they become available (you can even have BB scan the documents to tell you what has changed), and update/migrate your takeoffs to the newly revised documents automatically. From there, you can export your takeoffs to Excel, and as long as you are organized (and I mean borderline obsessively organized, especially about things that might seem trivial, like consistent file naming and locations on a server), you can have "live" links between your exported takeoffs and excel worksheets to automate a lot of the normally tedious and repetitive aspects out of the process. With our with our owners reps and CMs, we are using BB to manage our RFI, revision tracking, and punchlist process, among other things.
I have worked with a few CMs who have used Procore, (which I think is a web based?), with a similar functionality, starting in the early concept budget estimation process running all the way through document management, submittals, and punch listing. From a design professionals point of view, this has worked well too, but I can't speak to the pricing or ease of use/management for Procore. I know for certain that several of the CMs I have worked with have gotten a lot of utility out of the budget and cost tools that Procore has, but admittedly these were during the construction phase of work.
Hope this helps?
I watched most of their first 5 or 6 games this season, and couldn't (and still can't) for the life of me figure out why he doesn't play a lot more. He's efficient and plays with energy, and his size affects opposing shot selection in the paint.
In the "old days," I'd be excited he'll likely be starting for us next year, but with the portal it's a coin flip whether he'll be here at all.
And for a change, the announcers were, well, pretty good. Few digressions into their glory days, or peripheral nonsequiters and had done their homework on both teams for a change. We should have destroyed BC, bad loss, but I give the team props on their road play and while Kidd got his points, he wasn't a factor for Miami.
EDIT: What's the deal with Lawal? 7 in first half, 2 in second. Did they up the D on him, or what?
Wessler looked the best I have seen him too... 10 points, 5 rebounds, and some good defense in 17 minutes
Or could pair it with production from Schutt and Poteat

Young, Johnson, and Burnham won this game. Those guys came to play!
Call me crazy but does having an offense that goes three and out every time not strain the defense also? Asking for a friend...
Jaydon Young has career night. Usually it is the opposing team's bench player who has the career night. For once, roles are reversed. Congrats Jaydon on great night.
Do not believe he has played
Tomorrow they play Alabama again at 130pm
For anyone that is following the Hammering Hokies, I'm wondering about Micah Mathews. Is he contributing to the team? starting? coming off the bench?
Doubleheader complete. Ladies now 12-2. Even with Men's basketball in win totals after both teams wins today.
Two outs....one more to go
Hokies closing in. Still 6-3 with one out in 7th
JAMAS. SIN. DUDA.
Top of the 6th. Hokies up 6-3
