Notre Dame has scored at least 80 points in 13 of 19 games. 90 or more points in 9 games and over 100 in 4 games.
I don't see from a merit standpoint how this has legs either but I thought the Pavia argument was also very weak.
Plus, the NCAA's track record in these legal proceedings has been abysmal. I certainly am not enough of an expert in the Sherman Act to pontificate on how it applies to this situation but this seems to be the basis of the arguments in prior similar eligibility challenges and has largely been successful.
Long and short, if I were a betting man, I would put my money on the player winning again.
And if this lawsuit is successful, it seems likely that others will then try to extend the argument to any player who feels they were playing somewhere that "limited their NIL potential"..i.e. if you played your Fr. year at Wake Forest and went 3-9...should you get an extra year as well??
I think the end-game here is that eligibility limits will become non-existent and players will get to keep playing as long as teams are willing to pay them.
I have no interest in watching a sport filled with "professional college football" players, maybe others do, but that league already exists...its the UFL and its attendance and ratings demonstrate that there is no overwhelming demand.

Yeah I think I'll be switching to Dulles
I have only used it once and it was to get from BWI to Dulles (which shockingly you can't get to any other good way) ... the amtrak piece was amazing and then metro out to dulles was not as nice but still fine.... whole thing cost about $15 and took slightly longer than an uber that would have been >$100

I really would like to use Amtrak more often. I've only used it twice as an adult. It's great to be able to move around fairly freely and it's generally a pretty relaxing way to travel.
Unfortunately, it's usually not the most cost effective method and typically slower than driving basically anywhere outside of the northeast corridor.

If this goes down, I hope we vote against it, and use that vote to justify suing our way out, even if that means we end up somewhere like the Big XII.
This is part of my working theory on why Sands green lit the SMU/Cal/Stanford expansion:
- Quid-pro-quo for AAU membership
- To show that VT did everything possible to keep the ACC together, so that when it's time to fight for our exit, we can say acted in good faith.

Yeah. I covered a few stories on the 12th Aviation battalion when I worked out of the Public Affairs Office at Belvoir right out of VT. They are tasked with flying VIPs (Government Officials) in and around the NCR (National Capital Region).
Well not only that but we joined the ACC 20 years ago BECAUSE of the equal revenue sharing after being screwed over in the Big East to the extent that we were.
Should we go in this path, and take that extra step of just saying the haves are always going to get more regardless of performance, fuck it I want out of the conference. I don't even care if we are one of the haves, I don't want to be a part of an organization that does not treat everyone in it as an equal. If this goes down, I hope we vote against it, and use that vote to justify suing our way out, even if that means we end up somewhere like the Big XII.

Yeah its 8mi away across the river didn't mean to make it seem like it was the base across the river. I assumed they were training out of Andrews but apparently this came from Belivoir though
